fight club was really onto something with the ideal relationship dynamic being Just Some Guy x Person Free In All The Ways That You Are Not
hey tumblr! did we know about the AI sharing option??
direct quote: "Prevent this blog's content—even in reblogs—from being shared with our licensed network of content and research partners, including those that train AI models."
to opt out of AI training on PC: on the left column, click on the "Account" tab. click on your blog's name/icon. on the right column click on "View blog". click the "Blog settings" button. scroll _all the way down to the last option_ right before "Blocked Tumblrs". hit the toggle button so it is lit up blue and the circle is on the right. on mobile: click the little person's head icon on the bottom menu (all the way on the right). click the gear icon in the top right. click on "Visibility" (instead of privacy for some reason??). hit the toggle button so it is lit up blue and the circle is on the right.
(if you do this on either PC or mobile, it will effect both. you don't have to do it twice for the same blog)
you are now opted out from your blog training AI. and make sure you do this for EVERY BLOG YOU OWN!
hey actual @tumblr? THIS SHOULD BE OPT-IN NOT OPT-OUT
if you're having trouble sleeping the best you can do is put a bright object close to your face and look at it for at least 30 minutes. if that doesn't work you can close your eyes but make sure to think really hard about a bunch of bullshit
there is nothing lemon squeezy about any of this
ok so
everyone knows about this meme, right?
but does anyone else know the woman who made the food? no? time to educate!
This is “Mother Mary”, the owner of Blackberry’s mother.
She made all the cakes for the restaurant while it was open. Chef Gordon Ramsay tried her red velvet cake, and spoke this meme-able line:
He then called Mary over, complimented her food, and gave her a peck on the cheek.
Look how happy she was to hear that!!!
anyways, I hope she has been able to continue her love for baking since the restaurant closed down.
For these who don’t know: The restaurant she worked at closed down but she left before that and opened her own bakery, that’s apparently very successful!
Queer Mexicana 🇲🇽
Hey this post is not for terfs btw. The umbrella term “queer” is used here on purpose.
btw dating sucks as a concept.
meeting up with someone with the explicit goal of figuring out whether or not you want a relationship with them spoils the dynamic. it sucks. it's terrible. fall in love with your friends like normal people.
as expected this one is a hit with the autism website
when someone dislikes an acclaimed movie i love: you just enjoy being a contrarian
when i dislike an acclaimed movie: i'm the only one who can see the truth
Totally normal for a legitimate for-profit company to refuse to reclaim or stop running their products even after they're no longer being paid to do so. I'm sure it's very normal to just keep running your service for free when your contract's been terminated. Spending money to continue running cameras that supposedly no one is looking at is definitely not an indicator they are just run by the federal government to spy on everyone and only a wacko conspiracy theorist would think so.
This month's #BirdWhisperer bird is a vermilion flycatcher! please carefully observe the angry tangerine.

[ID from Alt: a digital painting of a brilliant red-orange bird, sitting in the green foliage of a tree. his head is in profile, looking at the viewer. a band of black appears at his eye, and down his wings. around him are abstract shapes of leaves and moss. the hues are all very bright, and the overall effect of the color is crystalline or sparkly. End ID]
anyway apparently ai companies are buying up physical copies of rare books, scanning them, and shredding them so that only the ai's digital copy exists, so this is actually a pretty good argument for piracy i think
isnt it really cool how your memories can just physically attack you at random
