FINALLY finally, I think i got faces going well. The faces are now looking less empty and more balanced. Poor Leon has been my muse during this exercise, so now the challenge will be applying my knowledge to other characters.

Also really like this pen i found in krita. its a nice line art pen.

Real quick exercise before bed.

Took a screen shot, draw basic guidelines over it.

Then turned off the back ground and drew using just the guides.

I'm still not quite getting faces, but considering THIS

is where i started. I'm not mad. I need to find that middle ground between realistic and ... well, not animated, but cartoon doesn't seem like the right word either?
