WEEK 9
I post so inconsistently that I really don’t know what “week” this is. But I’ve been sitting on this playlist for a while. This one is full of different songs, so if you’re in a random mood, I’ve got ya covered. Love u pizzas.

Not that anyone keeps up with this, BUT here’s another playlist! Pumped about this one!
I Doughn’t Know
I’ve gotten lazy people. And I know there’s only four of you that listen and are pushing me to do another playlist,so get into it. ThAnKs 2 aLl mY f@nZ
Y’all get u sommme.
Haven’t heard the entire album yet (listening right now), but I really like where it’s going. If you have any negative preconceived notions of Sufjan Stevens, push it aside and give this album a try.
This entire album is gold. Almost as good as pizza.
When I Say Pizza, You Say Pie
If you’re an Everything Pie kind of guy/gal, this may be your fancy.
This song is long, but give it a chance. JUST LIKE WE GAVE PIZZA A CHANCE.
South Pie South Best
Wow wow wow I still feel hungover from SXSW. It was such incredible time, but I can for sure say that I need about 57 hours of sleep to recover. My friends and I saw so many good bands, had so many alcohols, very little sleep, and a copious amount of food (pizza). I decided to make this a playlist for SXSW and the bands we saw. EAT IT UP.
Girl is busy and can’t make playlists right now, but I’m obsessed with this song and hopefully I’ll be seeing them at SXSW. Dig it homies.
Slice of You to Drop By
For a hot, hot second, I wanted to make this a biweekly thing because I wanted to give y'all great playlists. But with that thought process, I'm giving into what I am against. And that is trying too hard, so I changed my mind. Here's another playlist.

OPB Music
Just wanted to share a radio station from Portland that is pretty awesome. I've heard so many good songs in the past hour.

A Pie and a Rant
Y'all. First off, this has been a good time finding music to listen to. There is an incredible amount of music out there and most of these artists deserve to be heard! So far, I've been finding this music through Spotify or by word of mouth. I hope to use other sources when I have more time.
ANYWAY, I'm not going to write much for this blog, but for today I wanted to vent about something. One of the artists on this playlist, I found through Pitchfork. When I browse through artists here, I'm always thinking, "Okay what obscure band am I about to run into?" BUT, during this search, I got really angry that Pitchfork gives ratings to these albums. Okay, I get it, that's the whole point of Pitchfork. It's about criticism and their commentary, but do those things really matter? How could they put a 5.8 on an album that has so much hard work behind it? I'm sure this is a constant thought for many people, but it really irked me today. And I'm sure Pitchfork is well aware of all of these thoughts, but at the end of the day, those numbers, Pitchfork, awards, and other peoples opinions don't matter.
The entirety of this blog is to hold up a middle finger to all of those things. Who cares, who cares, who cares, who cares? If you enjoy listening to something, then that something is good!! We're not all going to be on the same wavelength about some record or artist. There's some weird ass shit out there, but that's what makes music not so one dimensional. So if you're not going to be into that new Sufjan Steven's album, THAT'S OKAY. That doesn't make you less cool. That makes you more of who you are and what you like.
What's good is good, and we should all respect that of each other. We may not understand it all, but let's all be... nice for lack of better words. Peace, love, and pizza.
