Anonymously or not, tell me who you ship my muse with.
Insult someone my muse cares about
Nothing is out of bounds, make them angry
I’m a sucker for ships that could kill each other, but would die for each other.
“He’s not here.”
Everything inside her screamed for her to either run or fight. She was lucky that Cloud and the kids weren’t home right then, so they were safe, for now. Tifa knew he could easily kill her, but she refused to give him any satisfaction of seeing her fear.
I will stay strong.
T’was the way she spoke, the short and clipped words that made the smirk turn deadlier - weight shifting to his left side to reveal the handle of his blade just beneath the lapels of his coat. Lying would not be tolerated, nor would running. He would take what he desired from her by force or with her cooperation either way gave him the end he desired.
“Indeed, yet your words still do not answer my query. Where. Is. He.”
The fear and the disbelief that the monster from her nightmares (All of Gaia’s nightmares) now walked among them once more shone within wine colored eyes, a cold yet amused smirk forming then upon flawless features. It was ... invigorating to know his mere presence was enough to cause a shift in the cheerful bartender.
“Where is he”
He did not need to elaborate, she knew that he sought out Cloud and who better to ask than the one who held such desire for his puppet.

~ ✠Ω✠ ~ There was something about the land he was in then…. Where was he? Why couldn’t he hear his precious mother within his mind? Had she forsaken him? Had she disappeared from his mind because of his defeat? Did she not believe him strong enough to bring about the cleanse of his world once more? Pain radiated through his body as he laid within the dark, seemingly glowing forest and he knew that despite even his tremendous healing ability … Cloud and his comrades were far more powerful than he had initially given them credit. They may have failed in eliminating him, but even in his most perfect form and melded with his mother they had bested him… It couldn’t have been possible, could it? He was a GOD.
A God.
And perhaps now he was simply a forsaken idol, something to be replaced until he could return to the life stream and build his influence alone within the hearts of those he could to bring about his return. Yes… Yes… he could bring about the death of them still when they think him just a dream… Perhaps then his mother would return and talk to him, tell him how proud she was of him. To call him her true heir and give him the power to lead the search to another realm… To make a home for himself and those chosen by the planet who he would lead like the God he was.
There was another close, though, drawn by the presence. It wasn’t something she could exactly pin point right off the bat, the presence was dark but…It didn’t deter her. Still, she wandered forward, following the pain she could feel, looking for the source of it. While she didn’t exactly know what she was getting into, there was little worry for her own safety.
She was careful in her steps, the illuminated forest keeping her hidden. Crystalline eyes caught a glance of the other, and ears swiveled forward, a quiet whine there as she wandered forward, cloven hooves not even leaving an imprint upon the ground.
“…What brings you here….”
Part of her doubted the other would understand her, it had been so long sing another had been able to hear her, to talk to her. She wanted to help, and she watched the other, ears swiveled forward and she lowered her snout just enough to nudge against the man’s shoulder, hoping he was alright and there wasn’t an underlying problem.
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ A groan of pain shot through him as a voice he did not know brought him out of the darkness threatening to take hold of him once again, shifting upon the grassy fields that he laid upon the warrior opened his wintry green eyes expecting if nothing else to be within the labs in Shinra. Would Hojo really allow his most precious specimen to waste away in a grave even if he was dead? No, he wouldn’t. Dead or alive he was still worth more than any other life in Hojo’s eyes.
Blinking away the sudden blindness caused by the figure before him, the ‘God’ furrowed his perfect brow taking in the broad face of the horse before him. Was this a simulation? Was Hojo testing him? The God, made in Jenova’s own image? A growl escaped him then moving away from the beast with a cringe of pain narrowing his gaze more.
“I will not be apart of these games, Hojo.... Release me and allow me to rejoin mother”
▐ ♰▐ He didn’t blend in with anything. Hell if nothing else he’d been at war with the world since he’d been spat into existence. He reveled in his anger, the only thing that kept him strong. He didn’t have time to stop, to reflect on things, because in the end, he couldn’t stomach to see the face looking back at him. In that regard he and the other man were not the same. Fame, glory, recognition, those were never awarded to him. He suffocated for just a tiny shred of acceptance, in a world that had afforded him none. “And what happens when the world doesn’t respect you anymore? Do you come to a cliff side and reflect back upon your life?” So he wasn’t the only one who had to live with the nightmares of the past? That was understandable. If life had taught him anything, it was that everyone had their breaking point. In the end, they were no better than the monsters and beasts they sought to keep in check. If anything, they were worse. He looked over at the other man then, nodding his head slightly to him in greeting. “Name’s Seifer.” He owed him that at least. They stood here speaking vaguely around a subject they both were far too familiar with. The rise and fall of their broken ideals. “So the dream is gone, and the revolution is dead. The only question left for me to ask I guess, is what now?”
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ It was both amusing and sad that another someone within this realm seemed to carry many of the demons he held as well within the dark recesses of his mind. Where the realms all plagued with unfortunate souls who could not help but fall into the product of their birth - playing the puppet to those who hold an authority or power greater than their own? None should suffer those horrors, the loss of control or the dark pit which awaits one after the fall of their master - or in his own case the realization that a preserved alien could not feasibly destroy his mind. Not without his own permission, and Hojo’s once ever present presence and puppet mastery had made it so he could not be under anothers beck and call again. He lost Angeal and Genisis over it, he could not lose himself as well.
Regarding the blonde for a moment later he contemplated his response, formulating the words as precisely as he could before speaking. “When the world has lost its respect in you.... Then it is your duty to restore it if that is what you wish. The path is dangerous and nigh impossible most days or so it seems yet those whose constitution is great enough, reap the benefit of the rewards.” A cool smirk ghosted upon his features then, shoulders shrugging slightly. “Or you accept the stigma you have been cursed with and make it into something you can believe in, even if no one else will. Accepting such things, becoming your own person no matter the whispered words behind your back... and continuing on despite what blocks you may find in life.... I suppose that is what is important.”
The older warrior canted his head to the side at the other’s name before nodding, repeating in kind. “Sephiroth.” Turning his gaze towards the ocean once more he scoffed. Yes. What now. Would he listen to the orders of those in Shinra, reporting back and taking the unlimited power Hojo claimed resided here back to the labs to suffer a fate similar to his own child hood... Or would he allow the old Sephiroth to die then and theree upon the cliff side and rise again here in this new land free of the strings that bound him - save for the whispered voices within his head? “You rise from the ashes. Forge a new dream. One for yourself.” Should he take his own advice?
Still, with all her being, she made a wish. She wished he would return to her, wished that he would find the strength to live – even if that meant he lived without her. As long as he survived. She did what she could to ease him, never once leaving his side, as if she were in deep mourning (and she still was in her heart). Losing her calm to fear, she works quickly, using the materia to her advantage – she does know enough to help, but even then there are places not even she can reach to heal. Perhaps if she had access to a medical facility she could be more useful… but the best she can do is stabilize him until he awakens. So she sings softly, the lullaby she sang him while still unborn, forgotten. He will not know her when he wakes, she reminds herself harshly, but she has to do all that she can.
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ The darkness that surrounded him, holding in its gentle embrace was a balm to the tattered remnants of his soul for now he was truly oblivious to the world and his mind lay clear of the thoughts that plagued him the moment the Jenova cells decided to activate allowing her consciousness to wreck havoc within his mind. T’was almost silent if one did not count the soft tune floating up from the background and into him, filling him with a warmth he had never experienced before. What was this magic? Was it that woman? The one who called him her son? Questions jumped up into the forefront of his once quiet existence within the shadows.
If he survived she had best be where he could find her. He had questions that needed answered. . . The most important... Why?
"Do you regret what you've done...?"
Ask my muse a question.... He can not lie.
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ A cold smirk etched upon his face, the madness within his eyes cold and calculated rather than those possessed by insignificant minions and pawns who knew not what they were doing. No, Sephiroth was well aware of what he had done. He was well aware of the lives that were lost and the grievous injuries he left upon the planet and its people.
“Do you regret allowing me to be born into this world? Do you regret allowing Hojo to pump your womb full of Jenova’s cells to overwrite the DNA of my father? Do you regret ignoring the warnings and dreams Jenova bestowed upon you - warning you of what I was to become should I be in Shinra’s possession?”
He knew her answer before she could even speak, head canting to the side ever so slightly.
“I regret nothing I have done. As they say, a child is only the product of its parents and the environment in which they allow them to grow in. I did naught but fulfill the destiny you helped write for me.”
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ Quietly he stood his back towards the bustling city of Midgar, inhaling the slightly cleaner air for all it was worth. He needed time to relax, time to think after Angeal and Genisis ... Gods he couldn’t think about it right then. His only human friends...
“Masamune.”
He could sense his eternal partner near, his power thrumming and seeking out his own.
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ Seireitei had been his home for a time he would rather not remember, his life before as a puppet for Shinra and then as a ploy in his mother’s plans to destroy all those who reside upon Gaia and use their energy to infect another planet with her sickness. . . Had he known all along what lay past the lifestream should your consciousness not find purchase there that he would transcend to this world - a world where the strong thrived without living under the thumb of those who would live to control him as if he were a puppet.... Here he felt... free. A shift was felt in the air about him, causing the silver haired Reaper to smirk was this him?
“So you are the infamous Ichigo?” He questioned after a moment focused on the beauty that was before him for a moment longer before turning upon the balls of his feet to look behind him, silver hair fluttering in the breeze that passed. The Masamune hung low at his hip, dormant and resting, as he regarded his intruder. “And here I had thought you would be .... Far more intimidating to face.” Though to the once though God of Gaia, and the bringer of death to those of his world many now did not seem intimidating. . .
~ ✠Ω✠ ~ His footsteps were cut short as another form stepped within his path, his face stoic before pale green eyes opened fully taking in the fiery red haired boy that stiffened at the sight of him. Pursing his lips, the SOLDIER elite crossed his arms over the broad planes of his chest. Just who was this boy and why was he here within the Shinra building? Taking in his clothing and the wide eyed expression he wore, the General nodded towards the hallway farthest away from their location.
“Lost... Are we?”
Amusement colored his expression then chuckling, “Don’t worry... Even I couldn’t memorize this place for a few years. Where do you need to go?”
