High On Fire was SO MUCH FUCKING FUN last night! They absolutely slayed. Got to hear my favorite track from Electeic Messiah and that made the show. I yelled out “Steps to the Ziggurat” and Matt Pike screams “STEPS TO THE ZIGGURAT” and proceeded to kick into one of the heaviest fucking songs released this decade. I immediately started stomping because that song is a fucking death march into the depths of oblivion. I moshed around a bit to Fertile Green, 10,000 Days, Fury Whip, and Snakes For the Devine. Got elbowed and bit my tongue till it bled but that’s part of the deal.

My ears are still fucking ringing. My neck hurts like a bitch. My hamstrings and calves are sore from stomping. Good times.

Nights like this are what I live for.
