Oh okay, lemme wax poetic some more for the Izuku Loving Hours
1. Quirkless Izuku who remembers all the pages of his Hero notes and applies them on the spot despite, you know, having minimal resources to actually replicate a move (like for Kamui Woods’ Lacquered Chain Prison). He takes a concept, gets inspired, and makes it his own
2. Izuku applying physics during the USJ arc by aiming his Delaware Smash at the water to create a whirlpool that’ll suck the water villains in
3. MY FAVORITE and what made me really start cheering him on at full throttle: Izuku winning the Obstacle Race during the Sportsfest with a boom and a BAM and without using his quirk! Sees what’s available around and knocks it out of the park. He realizes that the metal from the robots is hella durable and takes one with him, which is a GREAT choice as it enabled him to pull off his two final maneuvers. Just…Present Mic screaming “CLASS 1A MIDORIYAAAA” and all the students below seeing Izuku in the sky, rocketing to victory….
4. Izuku assembling his team for the Cavalry Battle. He was at a disadvantage, he doesn’t have the luxury of Best Picks. Doesn’t stop him from having a badass team that is capable of taking to the skies and having an all-around defense
5. He processes the weaknesses of a quirk fast. Like the limits of Stain’s paralyzing quirk, when after getting it used on him, Izuku immediately offered three options and discovered the answer via further process of elimination
6. Just Umbrella Catch-All Bullet point here for Izuku coming up with plans on the spot and under pressure. Boi rarely loses his cool tbh when in battle mode, especially when his teammates actually work and plan with him
7. Memorized Gentle Criminal’s trampolines while still in midair. He’s quite good at memorizing (I mean, he could list at least a thousand hero facts about All Might and other Pros off the top his head), and part of me is inclined to believe he actually has eidetic memory
8. Applies the concept of the Paddle Ball against Shigaraki during the War Arc
9. He’s not just smart, he’s also creative, guys. Like using Blackwhip as a tongue extension. Like…wtf
10. To elaborate on the above about Lady Nagant, Izuku applies math while getting shot at. It’s dark, and he has to locate where the assassin is. He’s aware that the Lady has a 3 km limit, and he’s very much within that range. He has two clues: the direction from where the first bullet has come from, and from where the curve bullet came from. And just by doing some quick mental maths, he knows where she is.
This is just the surface of it. I haven’t even discussed about his emotional intelligence yet
