Halloo, my name is Persia I’m 18 and start college this month aaaa scary to get my associates of arts, so I can get my associates in social work, and one day my masters. I want to work with addiction, wether that be directly helping addicts or working with children of addicts/recovering, as i come from a family of addicts and recovered addicts- and I’ve seen the complexities, impact, stigma, and lack of resources surrounding both the parent and the child. I would like to one day maybe maybe be a supervisor, because I have also seen first hand how bad the system can fail the people it’s supposed to be helping. Though that’s a way longer goal, I’ll get there.
I’m in the USI’m tired of everything going on, and I’m working on not making that all I talk about.. but still talking about it enough to stay informed, and do as much work as I can at least locally. I’m happy to say signing petitions, protesting, contacting local politicians and showing up to city hall meetings has done something in my community. We were able to postpone data center building until a new, 2027 date. We pushed it back once prior, so this has at least stalled development by 2 years 🤧🫶. Obviously this is a small step, but it’s something that’s kept data centers out for 2 more years, which I’m so grateful about..
I love music!!!! I haven’t gone to any big concerts or anything, but I like to go to local shows a few times a month and my favorite venue is amazing, I’m always finding new bands there and I never fail to have a good time. I’m into paleontology, but mostly ammonoidea!!! I am obsessed with ammonites, I wish I had a bigger collection but I’m trying to get a species at a time before expanding more! And it isss a tad bit harder to find new species near me as my fossil stores usually carry the same ones.. once in a while there’s a new one though! I got a beautiful douvilleiceras spiniferum not to long back, and I can also always go to online fossil shops and beloved Etsy🤞. I just ordered my biggest one yet, a gorg 4” perisphinctes- though I won’t know the exact species until she’s here sadly😞.
Oops that last section got a little long I could keep going but I won’t… this time… I also am pretty big into Yellowjackets, even though that definitely comes in waves- it’s never gonee fully.. I am itching for S4 I am so ready. I shouldn’t share my opinions on Yellowjackets, as I might be hunt down for them, but just know I need Tai or Misty to be final girl.. that’s revealed too much oh god no. /j. I also am a my little pony fanatic, i probably consume the most media of it. MLP is genuinely the best fandom for, A media and I guess.. fandom-ness?? that’s not a word, B multishipping. And C, tie it all together and you get the best gay media. Sue me. At least every mane6 ship is canon, also sue me.
I’ve been trying to get comfortable using the lesbian label, as I’ve been having a big comphet deconstruction, it’s been a giant mess, I’ve been a giant mess, so I apologize if there’s a lot about that(comphet) on my page. I’ve been relooking at everything in my life, and I am trying not to feel afraid or ashamed for just coming to this realization.. 18 years into my life.. after a few long relationships with men obv while in the trenches of comphet not realizing I wasn’t really attracted to any of them, based our entire relationship around expectations of a man and woman together, and ofc thinking it was just normal for a woman to be unhappy and unfulfilled her in her relationships with men.. but no need to get more into that aaaaa.
Messy DNI//Hopefully this goes without saying, please don’t interact with me if you’re bigoted in anyway, Zionist, trans exclusionary, against micro labels, neopronouns/xenos, if you excuse racism, ableism, transphobia, misogyny- etc in any case but under the guise of either ‘humor’ or said person being problematic. If you use AI, in any form, if you deny its harmful impacts not just on our environment but local communities, and its ties with racism, and misogyny. If you’re one to say “maybe I’m not woke enough…”, “you people can’t do anything”, any of those sorts while still claiming to care about issues, that only affect you. Along with that, if you can’t understand intersectionality- if you can’t accept you have privilege when you do, if you only talk about things that affect you(such as protesting anti-abortion laws, whilst turning an eye to other problems such as transphobic laws or the situation with ICE.) please don’t interact with me. Like I said earlier you don’t need to only talk about these things, that can get bad for you- and nobody is perfect, but we all can always keep learning and improving!!! If you are religious, that is obviously okay, and I respect your right to freely express that- though that doesn’t mean I will respect said religion, as a lot are built around inherently bad ideology- so I may not interact with religious profiles, and I will block somebody spreading religion in the sense of “Jesus loves you!” “X religion will accept you”instantly. This doesn’t only apply to Abrahamic religion, though that’s not as common in other practices.
