12 May - Feasting Day
- S woke me up at 8am so we could go on a walk together. It was lunchtime where she is - but I’m so glad we are able to do it together.
- Had a call with my counsellor at 9am and we went over my new eating routine and how I am a little worried I will fall of it. I’ve been on a thousand and one diets before - they’ve never ever stuck. How do I make this one stick and change it into my lifestyle?
- Broke my fast with low carb sushi and fried wontons. I tried not to snack but ended up having 2 boiled eggs, and some papadums before the gym today. Post gym / dinner was butter chicken with coconut roti/flatbread.
- Also burned around 800 calls today according to my Apple Watch!
Feeling super sleepy now, so going to call it a night

Monday!
- Fasts on Mondays are funnn! It’s a good way to start the week - starting the week by accomplishing something.
- I had some carbs yesterday, so I do have a slight head ache. But I hope it doesn’t get worse.
- I had some broth around 7pm with salt, it didn’t help as much as I would like.
- Tried to keep busy throughout the day with work. I think tomorrow, so I don’t procrastinate like I did today, I will set myself some tasks, and once those tasks are complete stop working and read a book. This should motivate me to be on track. I want to be done with my work by 2pm (same time I would break my fast).
- Breaking my fast tomorrow with some veggies + keto sushi. I’m also craving some dumplings might include 4-5 too! Dinner is coconut roti/flatbread with butter chicken (keto / low carb) too!
- I also had my husband hide our scale. I don’t want to be weighing myself daily (although there is scientific evidence that shows this is a good way to keep you on track). But I find myself way numerous times through the day.. so this will be a good way to have a long-term vision. Next weigh in is next Monday (18th May).
- Also started to video record some of this process, something to look back on.
- Now going to finish of the “Becoming” doco and get a good night’s sleep hopefully!
10/05/20 Sunday - mother’s day
- Broke my fast today after 37 hours! Woo
- We had a party today for my sister-in-laws mother, and wore this dress. I felt so hideously huge in it and the entire night I was so so uncomfortable. But I want to use this experience to remind myself why I am fasting and why I must continue. I want to just feel and look amazing. I want to have a snatched waist, and just wear all the clothes / styles I want. Just need to keep at it, and not give up.
This will be it.
Today marks the first day I was able to do 0 cal on a fasting day. I had lots of water, one seeing of broth and didn't get in my exercise but it was a fantastic day.
