It’s almost surreal to see what this space has become for me. All the connections I made through the years in my tiny corner of the world have all disappeared and I’m suddenly quite alone here, posting into a void.
It’s comforting all the same. To be back where my life was so much simpler. Where so much made sense and I didn’t feel so adrift. Although, I suppose, at the time I did.
It’s somewhat poetic, then, to see how different all of this is yet also how familiar it is. Then to look at my history here and see how different I am yet also how much of me has stayed the same.
I still get that same, aching, yearning, desire to explore and adventure into these beautiful vistas I post. How I wish to scale those mountains, to hike within those trees, to feel the push and pull of the tides.
