Chastity shrugged. “Considering so many people despised that movie... it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.”

"Um," The Virtue hesitated, his brow furrowing. "No...? I don't own any, if that's what you're asking."

Chastity stared at Nick. "And..?"

(,,but I was not surprised or acting surprised. I'm well aware that being asexual doesn't mean a person can't have sex or enjoy sex or have a sex drive. I was excited at the possibility of having a canonically ace character having sex when 'not having sex' is seen as a sign of asexuality.)

Of course he seems to like you a lot. You're new and different. But what happens later. There must have been a point where he didn't find Diligence as annoying as he does today.

"Oh.." Chastity shifted, looking to the side and stiffening. "Do you really think he does that with everyone?"

((Chastity's nature ties in with his sexuality a lot so it's actually kind of hard to link it with human sexuality when i think about it too hard.

he's on the ace spectrum tho. i'd say the closest??? would be demi, i guess. certain circumstances allow for him to look at others sexually, particularly when Lust acts up, and marriage throws new perspectives into the mix.))

The real question is why would he like you? He's seen empires come and go. He's had kings for hosts. He's made history. You're just a novelty.

Chastity stared for a minute or too at the Anon before looking away uncomfortably. "Um... I suppose there is that."

The Sin sat down, not saying anything for a few moments. “The… host I was being bothered about… her name is Renee.” he began quietly, not sure how to tell the story. Would he tell the whole thing? Surely he wouldn’t need to do that.

Hopefully he wouldn’t need to do that.

"She…" he paused for a moment, wondering if he could simply cut to the chase. "She used me and then cheated me out of a business we were both running." he said, slightly stiffly.

Chastity blinked. He had… honestly been expecting Greed to beat around the bush more than that. The Virtue would admit he pushed the Sin fairly frequently for details about his past, but… almost every time it had taken quite a bit to get Greed to talk.

He paused at the words. Used… could mean a lot of things. Quite a bit of which it was his job to prevent. He scooted slightly closer to Greed, suddenly wanting to help in some way. His voice was hesitant when he next spoke. “How.. how did she use you?”

Greed stiffened up. It would still be weird to admit how things actually had been. More likely than not, it would always be weird to admit how at fault he had been. How wrong.

"She lied to me." Greed said quietly, not elaborating. He glanced over at Chastity almost nervously, hoping that his sunglasses would block out most of the emotion.

Chastity frowned, trying to read Greed's expression and shifting a little closer. "Lied to you about what?" He asked. The Virtue didn't necessarily want to push the Sin, but this host must have been awful if Greed was this quiet when talking about her.

He flipped his hand up in an offer to hold Greed's hand. At this point, Chastity really just wanted to help the Sin out. Part of his job was helping people in terrible relationships, after all. Maybe he could help Greed feel a bit better.

Ah, no everything's fine, I just--are you--? Are you,, content with me? A--am I holding you back?

Chastity’s brow creased in a frown. “Of course I’m content with you. What’s.. what’s wrong? What brought on this question?”

He stiffened at the next question. Without Greed, Chas would probably still be wandering around, not quite sure how to get his own life. Where was Greed getting these ideas… “Why would you be holding me back? You’re helping me.”

"Ah hey," He smiled before seeing the Sin's expression. "Um... sure ask away. Is everything alright?"

"Um..." Chastity blinked, flushing. "Am I supposed to have an answer to this?"

Chastity smiled. "Yeah, and... and we'll make a lot more, too."

really? why would you? he's always lying to everyone--how do you even know what he's telling you now is the truth?

Chastity's hands clenched by his sides as he pointed at the door. "Because I trust him. Certainly much more than I trust any of you."
