My wife and I moved my art table to another location in our apartment so that I get more sun light and can see what it looks like outside. The old location was in our upstairs loft that had no windows and going up and down the stairs was so much of a hassle I dreaded having to work on any projects.
Iād stay indoors for days not knowing what time or day it was unless my wife came home from work or when our dog needed walking/feeding. I didnāt want to do anything that I had to deal with going outside. Depression is a real thing that we all experience and I needed the extra help from my wife and dog to see the better parts life has to offer. Weāre going on more walks, when the weather is great Iām more compelled to spend some time outside, my wife plans out cheap, interactive dates that Iām so appreciative of, and Iāve even become a vegetarian! Where the heck did that come from, right??
Just a small change in perspective has boosted my mind, body, and spirits tenfold. Make sure to take care of your mental health and to not be afraid of accepting help offered from the people who care about you. Go outside, breathe fresh air, and appreciate what you have.
