Despite being cool.and upbeat (and she is) she also suffers from anxiety and recently started speaking about it in social media. Instagram posta detailing her inability to even go downstairs and how support her fam are etc. She also recently did a bbc documentary about anxiety disorders.

Nadiya is also a perfect example of why diversity in media is important. A government report on community cohesion said she’s done “more for British-Muslim relations than 10 years of government policy”, because her presence on TV has helped to humanize the image of the hijab-wearing Muslim woman in the eyes of the public. She’s not even really a political activist or anything - she’s just a nice, honest, down-to-earth person. Sometimes that’s all it really takes to convince people.

SUMMARY: y/n stark is really not here for this european school vacay because in this post-endgame world, she’s mourning the loss of her dad. but one (1) sticky boi peter parker is just trying to be the friend he once was while also trying not to flirt too much because if she rejects him (which she wouldn’t, not that he knows that) while they’re in venice holy hell he’ll just pitch himself off the gondola right then and there.

basically, y/n has been distancing herself & peter misses her & this school trip is a great way for him to coax her back into the real world & y/n really loves peter but is super sensitive and scared to lose him & also mysterio shows up at some point ugh  @ nick fury leave ned leeds alone

the beginning: peter stops by the compound with a proposal for y/n to join their class in europe, happy steals y/n’s clothes, & harry osborn is a verified hottie 

VENICE

Pt. 1 - y/n ships betty and ned real hard, peter kisses one (1) girl, and y/n finds out flash can speak italian

Pt. 2 - a huge water creature attacks, y/n takes a swim, & peter makes a new friend while y/n steals a boat

PRAGUE

Pt. 1 - peter pulls out the ol’ glasses, ned gets his groove on at da club, and y/n finds herself thirsty for one (1) pining  & suave harry osborn 

Pt. 2 - mj proves herself to be coolest human #1, y/n & peter get emotional over dumplings, & flash starts a tipsy game of truth or dare

Pt. 3 - y/n breaks into s.h.i.e.l.d., peter is forced to start a prank war, and ned leeds loves carnivals 

LONDON

Pt. 1 - peter decides to devote himself to mj, y/n makes a secret deal with nick fury, and honestly harry osborn just keeps getting hotter

Pt. 2 - y/n makes a huge decision about her senior year, peter gets an suit upgrade & happy is terrible at reading the room 

Pt. 3 - mysterio thinks he owns the place, y/n makes a sacrifice, & peter learns a thing or two about loss while mj has a superhero moment

EPILOGUE

the end: y/n & mj swap lasagna recipes, college is quite a time to be alive, & no one warned peter about how annoying teenagers are

First Peter is gifted a pair of Mr. Stark’s sunglasses and now he finds out that those very same glasses can practically do anything Peter requests? He can see everything that his classmates and teachers are doing on their phones from his seat all the way at the back of the bus without having to peer over their shoulders. He looked around chuckling to himself over a few things he saw at quick glimpses then his eyes land on you, “EDITH what’s y/n doing?”

Just as the information was about to pull up in front of the boy’s eyes he canceled the request, he’s was not going to invade your privacy like that.

Peter enjoyed discovering new programming his high tech glasses had and was so preoccupied he didn’t notice they were making a quick pitstop. Peter threw the sunglasses back in their rightful case and placed them gently in his backpack. He waited as the line moved out of the bus slowly and he saw you laughing and smiling with MJ and Brad. Brad seriously can’t find someone else to bother?

Summary: Meeting the fishbowl and two teens turn down Nick Fury

It was only the first day in Europe and so many things had happened; one major thing, Peter and you spent time together alone for the first time in months. Oh and there was a huge water monster. Now it was finally time for bed and Peter could not wait for tomorrow. Tomorrow was the day he would take you to the Eiffel Tower and finally tell you how he felt. It was going to be the longest day of his life.

You walked up the final step from the staircase, wearing an oversized t-shirt (which also just so happened to be Peter’s) and shorts to bed. At the sound of muffled noises coming from Peter’s room, you turn off your phone and look towards his door. A soft glow coming from underneath the door frame is what drew you to the room. You knocked lightly and with that noise the muffled noises stopped, “W-Who is it?”

“It’s y/n!” More muffled noises; it sounded like arguing. The door swung open to reveal a wide-eyed Peter and he dragged you into his bedroom. Ned was snoring and you see a dart lodged into his neck, “Peter what the hell happened?!”

“Well, well, well, it’s good to see you again Y/n Stark,” the familiar voice said and you turn to one corner in Peter’s room to see the one and only Nick Fury, eyepatch and all. What was Nick Fury doing in Venice and why was he speaking to Peter? Maybe he had an explanation for the water monster. Maybe he needed to recruit the two of you. But wait, why hadn’t he gone to you first?

“Oh wow… Hi Fury nice to uh see you,” you say standing up taller and fidgeting your thumbs. Peter stood next to you and you see the device that was causing the glow underneath the door. It was a projector displaying some graphics and as if it was second nature you began asking questions “So the monster… What do we know about it?” You walk towards the small device on the center of the table and cross your arms, finger pointing to the projection of the figure in front of you. Fury laughs, “Just like your old man huh?” Your heart physically aches at his comment, you nod.

Vormir (Endgame Spoiler)

Okay, I’m sick of people saying that Hawkeye should’ve died instead on Natasha. I too am heartbroken that we lost her, but that does not justify saying that Clint should’ve died in her place.

He has a family. He is a person. Yes, he’s made many, many, many mistakes, but that does not justify the right to say that he should’ve jumped off a cliff.

In all honesty, I think that giving Natasha that moment was a beautiful ending to her character because it showed her strong, independent, selfless, proactive, ethical, and determined self. I agree that she deserved a better and more proper send off in honor of her and her life, but that does not mean we should’ve killed Clint in her place. She has proved herself her entire life trying to find her purpose, and she realized that her purpose was not to die, but that helping others was her gift.

I am heartbroken that she is gone, but please, honor her memory by her decision to give up her life for Clint’s, the Barton family, and the rest of the universe.

And it’s also interesting what Tony chose to point out as one of Howard’s “pearls”, because I think the two men interpreted it in completely different ways.

Based on what we know about Howard, it’s safe to say he was talking about time to work. No matter how rich he was, he still had the same 24 hours in a day as the poorest man on Earth. The same 24 hour days to plan and invent and create everything he imagined, and only so many years. There was always work to do. Always work. But only so many hours, only so many years.

Perhaps Tony once reminisced on Howard’s proverb in that way, but by the time he’s confronting Howard in Endgame, I think the meaning has changed. See for Tony, it doesn’t mean work anymore, it means people. It means love. No matter how rich he is, he only has the same 24 hour days as the poorest man on Earth. The same 24 hour days to spend with his family and appreciate his loved ones and create happy memories, and only so many years. I’m positive that Tony is hyper-aware of time with his loved ones, especially here. He lost so much time in all the years he spent with himself as the center of his world. And now he has a daughter and a wife to shower with love. He also just lost Peter, who he knew for so little time. Tony couldn’t have bought another second with the kid if he tried (and I bet he tried). All Tony can do is hope he didn’t take the time he had with Peter for granted. Tony is also probably acutely aware of how little time he has left. A part of him knows he won’t make it back home again. Oh, if only he could use his billions of dollars to buy a little more time. One more afternoon of homework with Peter. One more casual lunch on the town with Rhodey. One more drive with Happy. One more juice pop with Morgan. One more night where he can smile as he watches Pepper sleep next to him. There was always love to give and receive. Always love. But only so many hours, only so many years.

Howard says he’s afraid to have a son because the kid might turn out like himself. Tony asks if that would really be so bad. But Tony broke the cycle. In the end, Howard had nothing to be afraid of- his son was not like him at all.
