What are you doing when you grow up?

My plan is to go into a scientific field. My goal is to get a job at Oscorp or Stark Industries in the experimental sectors. I was on the right path with my last internship but things went....South. Looking into the new internship system at Oscorp but I fear I may have missed signups during my hiatus 😅

Oh well. There’s always next year right?

Sorry about the break. Had to hit hard at work and on personal projects (+ some self care) and help Aunt May out. She sprained her arm pretty bad but she’s doing ok now.

But things are starting to go back to normal so o thought I’d revive my blog.

How do you feel about Mutants?

I couldn’t honestly care less about mutants.....WAIT no. That came out wrong.

I mean I don’t care if you are or are not one. Like they’re just like everyone else? Just with cool powers? Shouldn’t we be envying them and not degrading them?

I would LOVE to have been born with telekinesis or wings or really any type of powers.

I mean, yeah, not all mutations are super cool or uselful but still.

Mutants are cool.

Gross school work. I'm doing okay! How's your job at the Bugle going?

Same. School is the pits.

I honestly really like my job at the Bugle. I get paid a good wage (real good considering I’m still in school) for one of my favorite hobbies. The hours are very relaxed and the work is fun and easy. I like being able to go all over the city for my work, I get paid to travel basically and the Bugle covers my taxi’s (as long as the trip is work related).

I’d say I’ve got it made (at the moment. Not considering this for long term of course. SCIENCE AWAY!!!)

I’m doing pretty good, struggling a bit with some school work (english, ugh) but that’s pretty normal I guess.

Were you bullied as a kid?

I mean, with my interests that should be a given.

I still have to deal with some but it doesn’t really bother me anymore. It used to get to me and my insecurities really bad but I’m pretty happy with myself atm so I don’t mind it as much.

My main Bully, Flash, graduated last year so I should be good for the rest of my time here. He said he’s going into the military after school and you know what, I’m kinda proud of him. He’ll be able to turn all that pent up anger towards something good, protecting this country.

How do you feel about Spiders?

Honestly they kinda creep me out. Like if I see one outside that’s fine, that’s it’s spot.

What branch was Ben in? I remember that he served.

He did serve, you’re right. He served in the Army during the Gulf war.

While he was proud to serve he wasn’t to fond of some things that happens over there so he didn’t talk about it much.

Is May your great Aunt?

May is my Aunt-in-Law technically since she married my Uncle Ben who was brother’s with my dad. Hence the same Parker last name.

I get the confusion since Ben was my dads older brother so he and May are both older than my parents were.

May once told me how she was mistaken for my mom’s mom a few times.
