It's not about channels anymore

Back in the day we used to watch shows on TV and short viral videos on YouTube. Now most of the time we're not even sure where we saw something. Could have been TV, could have been YouTube, Facebook, Netflix or a blog post. Could be anywhere, because video is everywhere. That's how publishers should go about video content, prepare for all devices, it could go anywhere.

It's weird. All my life I wanted to be extremely efficient. It wasn't that I wasn't working hard, I was just prioritizing way too many things as most important. When I became a dad, it somehow all worked a lot better. Why? Because I really want to be home for dinner.

Last week I ran the Amsterdam Marathon. 3 hours and 56 minutes! Couldn't have done it without my love cycling next to me with water and food in the many many long boring runs over the last six months.

Solaiman is mijn buurjongen, maar de afgelopen weken ook mijn chauffeur. Hij rijdt me met zijn fiets overal naartoe!

Marokkaanse pannenkoeken van Solaiman

2 soepkommen met griesmeel, 1 eetlepel bakpoeder, halve eetlepel zout, 1,5 soepkom met lauw water, honing, suiker

Doe alles in een grote kom en roer net zolang totdat het een plakkerig mengsel wordt. Daarna alles in een broodmixer en dan 10 minuten mixen (kneden kan ook). Daarna kneed je bolletjes van het deeg en die smeer je in met olijfolie. Je legt ze op een dienblad en dekt ze af met plasticfolie. Vervolgens druk je ze plat, zodat ze een rondje worden. Dan haal je het plastic eraf en ga je de pannenkoeken vouwen. Je vouwt van rechts naar links. Vervolgens van boven naar het midden en van beneden naar boven met als eindresultaat een vierkante vorm. Je kunt op YouTube zien hoe dat moet. Dan zet je een oude koekenpan op het vuur. Beetje olijfolie erin en bakken maar! Ik eet ze zelf het liefst warm, met honing of suiker erop.
