I need to rant about this a little, but it still bothers me how some people got really pissy about the wigs in Cinderella's Castle, proving people don't know how theater works

Many things in theater are meant to be looked from afar, and wigs are a great example of that. Actors need to be able to put them on and get them off fast and easily, especially if their character has many wigs, like Ella does in CC. The lace isn't meant to be cosplay level invisible, just good enough so people in the middle and back seats can't really tell it's not their real hair

"But they could have at least made them look good for the proshot" Like no, it's still theater, my guy! It's meant to look like that!

People also got pissy at Emma's wig in NPMD, and if I remember correctly, Lauren had to defend it, which is ridiculous cause,,,, she shouldn't have to do that? It's theater and sometimes characters need to have wigs! And it's Starkid! The minute they get a professional for their wigs, people have a problem with them? Idk man, that's kinda sus

Not to be a boomer or a theater snob, but it feels like many new Starkid fans forget it's theater and should be judged from a theater perspective
