For Lizzy to become a reaper she would have had to commit suicide. That's sad. You gotta back story for her death?

yeah actually, the general concept is that after ciel completes his contract with sebastian several years after the current canon, she massively blames herself and that’s how it ends up happening

she gets into the reaper organization and is assigned under grelle and ronald, learns from grelle that the scythes can harm demons, and makes it her mission to covertly track down sebastian for revenge

(of course, this is just my interpretation that’s also brought on by my personal connection with lizzie and how i see her! hopefully that makes things clearer!)
