Hello hello, i bring you a bg3 story once more! This time its how you would be able to recruit another oc of mine, but! Without the guidance of Kaidan this time around. So more like how it would play out in game itself!!
This isnt proofread, english isnt my first language so all mistakes are my own
Branches snap underneath their feet, leaves rustle in the gentle evening breeze. The last light of the sun graces the faces of the ones traveling on the road, through trees and leaves it flickers and filters. The last bit of warmth before evening falls. They should head back to camp, meet up with the others and get ready to turn in for the evening. No use in staying out longer than necessary, especially not when many things could potentially kill them out here.
The moment Astarion is about to make a comment on how they should just give up on trying to find, whatever it is that they're trying to find. Shadowheart shushes them and comes to a halt. Right there, through the trees and bushes they see an old abandoned chapel. Nature has already started to reclaim what is rightfully theirs by the looks of it.
"An old chapel, big deal, can we just go back? Return to this in the morning when the sun isn't about to disappear?" Astarion snips, an uneasy feeling befalling him for some reason, while Shadowheart makes a point to ignore him and instead approaches the building. He shoots a glare at the back the the cleric's head.
Karlach thumps him on the back as she walks past, "Oh come on fangs! It can't be that bad!" she barks out a laugh and begins walking next to Shadowheart.
Damn her and her positive look on everything they find themselves doing. Sighing dramatically Astarion walks after the others, not happy about it in the slightest. What if they run into some bandits, some other bad guys or even a trap in general. It definitely doesn't look like someone's been here in decades, maybe even centuries.
Gale is the only one who somewhat shares his sentiment, the wizard eyes the building with suspicion, yet also with curiosity. It's not every day they run into a building this well hidden, tucked away in a corner far away from civilization.
"A quick look won't hurt, hmm? But it does warrant us to be cautious, gods know what might be lurking in the bowels of such a grandiose place!"
Damn the wizard, damn them all actually.
"If we get ambushed, i am leaving every single one of you behind," Astarion states.
Getting close to the chapel is surprisingly easy, no traps in their way, some twisting vines maybe, but that seems to be the only thing trying to prevent them from entering. Bones are scattered on the ground, people must've been here at some point. Or animals.
Shadowheart peers through a collapsed entrance can't make out much, only the faintest flicker of a candle burning in the distance.
"Careful, someone might be inside if that candle is anything to go of off," She backs away from the entrance, this must mean there is a different way inside.
"We should search the area, but be careful," the cleric turns around, "We can split into two groups, should make this quicker, and if any of us find something just yell. I'm sure we will be able to hear each other,"
And just like that they split into groups, Karlach staying with Shadowheart while Astarion and Gale walk towards the other side of the chapel to try and find a way inside. What they don't expect to find however is a graveyard, small it may be.
It's well kept, not overgrown unlike the chapel it is sitting next to. As if someone comes here often enough to make sure it stays as clean as it currently looks. It's getting darker, Gale has a more difficult time making out the figure kneeling underneath the tree than Astarion does. But both men spot them nonetheless. Clad in black and a what Astarion can only assume is a veil covering them, it's hard to make out who or rather what this being might be.
Just as he wants to turn around and drag Gale away from this place, Gale had already started walking towards this unmoving form kneeling in the dirt. Astarion would've been surprised if Gale hadn't already made a bad habit of approaching strangers to begin with. Better stay nearby in case things go down hill.
As Gale gets closer, he can now finally make out what the figure looks like, their back is still turned to him, but he sees a white sharp tail peeking from underneath layers of clothing, tell tale signs of a tiefling. His suspicions are confirmed when he gets a look from their side, white horns curling outwards. Their hands are clasped together, eyes closed. If Gale strains his ears he can make out the faintest of prayers to.. Kelemvor?
Gale observes this person for a while, and then makes the impulsive decision to kneel next to them. His eyes wander over to the two graves, names are etched in it. Gale doesn't want to make assumptions, but he has the suspicion that the two people buried here mean a lot to them. It would explain why they're still here at this hour, and why the graveyard looks so well taken care of.
The tiefling finishes their prayer, eyes fluttering open and they finally acknowledge not only Gale who is sitting next to them, but also Astarion who had apparently taken it upon himself to stand right behind Gale like some bodyguard.
"It's dangerous, approaching strangers when it's getting dark outside. Especially in a graveyard," A soft voice, almost in a whisper, leaves the tiefling. Their eyes turning to meet the ones of Gale, bright red eyes staring through his soul as if the tiefling is trying to determine whether or not Gale is worth talking to.
When Astarion wants to make a quip about how he had warned not only Gale, but also their other companions about it being a horrible idea, the three people present feel a tugging inside their skulls. The parasite connecting them all as memories of this tiefling flood both Astarion and Gale's minds. How they had been coming here almost daily to tend to the old place, the worship and most importantly who the two graves belonged to. Family.
Just as quick as it began, it was over, Astarion and Gale staring at the tiefling with wide eyes, they're also infected. Of course they are.
The tiefling blinks rapidly, trying to regain their senses. "Well, good to know I am not the only fool infected with such a thing," They mutter, slowly they begin rising to their feet, to their full height. Gods they're tall.
Gale gets up as well, knees creaking as he does so, dusting his robes off from the dirt. "Now that our worms have met, I think it's time to introduce ourselves to each other as well," Sticking out his hand for the tiefling to shake, which they do, a white, pale hand with black long nails wrapping around Gale's own tanned one.
"Gale of Waterdeep," a shake and a soft squeeze.
"Ryan.. Seacrest," Ryan drops Gale's hand and turns to Astarion with a raised brow.
"Astarion, pleasure to meet you," Astarion gives the tiefling a tight smile, something about his entire appearance has Astarion a bit suspicious.
A hum, a glint of something neither the vampire nor the wizard can place in Ryan's eyes.
"Got any idea how to get rid of these things?"
"Not yet, but we are working on it," Gale smiles a little, clasping his hands together, "You're welcome to join us, plenty of room left, besides I think a new face every now and then is good for this group,"
Ryan's eyes flicker between Gale and Astarion, as if he is assessing whether it's the truth or not.
Im back on my bullshit by presenting you 6, of many more bg3 ocs to come. They would be people you could recruit in game and even romance should you feel like it☝️
Hence the titles above their heads, it would be what their journal entries would be called!!
I'll post some lore eventually, but I need to write it in a way that makes sense outside of rambles 😭
i'm working on my take on charles & the 105 but now i got curious about your thoughts on them + charles & my nana macfoy-gant, when he comes back all those years later!
Let me put on my thinking cap for this one because yes hello? He would adore the 105 you have no idea. Sure theyd be a pain in the ass when they come back to him all bloodied and bruised, but those are his people to patch up your honour !!!
Occasionally he would try to be a voice of reason with a quick "please dont hurt yourselves out there, I beg of you," but its more often than not that he can get dragged along with macfoy and cisneros and their silliness on their days off when he actually feels like he can relax!!
When he comes back years later in 2012, fully recovers (besides his lost eye and the fact he walks with a cane from now on) ((recent development)). The moment he meets Nana he doesn't know what to say, its odd to know the people you used to know way back when have gotten married and settled down to have kids later in their lives. And that you as a person, missed all of that.
He'll definitely ask Nana how she came to shield, what shes been up to, what her parents were like together (if she wants to talk about it that is), just showing genuine interest in who she is and what her ambitions are!!
Since we've already kinda talked about it before, but here i am once again for the crossover ask🫶 Charles and the commando 105, I still hold them dearly in my heart and have to think about them again soon🏃
omg yes i remember charles i love him!!
charles was absolutely a friend of the commando 105 during wartime, and they absolutely needed a medic.
he went on the field with them a couple times probably, but mostly he was the guy they'd come back to after a mission — covered in blood and still "hey, d'ya miss me, doc?"
i get that he was such a fun guy back in the day (before the horrors ™) so i'm sure cisneros and macfoy (our local thing 1 and thing 2) had a BLAST with that guy. they'd go out drinking in their days off and dancing the night away
mad jack respects the hell out of him for sure, as a valiant ally to commando 105 of comparable guts and insanity
idk in what year charles comes back, so idk who he gets to see again... cisneros dies in the 90s, mad jack in 2012, manny in 2014, and lady and macfoy in 2015. he probably does however meet macfoy and lady's daughter, nana
Ive been struggling alot with Revè's design ill be honest, not a single outfit that I made worked for them, so I just opted for them being the night sky instead. They tend to manifest differently to every single person anyway so why be confined to a single form?
The only thing people will often notice about them is their shimmering golden eyes, no matter their form. Its a staple to who they are after all
For those who dont know, Revè is the embodiment of Nightmares, Dreams, Sleep and the night. They are as unpredictable as can be, but they are neither evil or good. They are above reality and simply exist to maintain a certain balance
"Death should've come for me a long time ago, yet something is keeping me around, for its own sick satisfaction,"
Who missed Charles? I sure did! So here's another piece of him but this time with the entity that has been toying with him ever since he first entered its hellish loop. But even after escaping the loop, he never quite escaped the grasp of his tormentor.
@auxiliarydetective youre to blame for the charles thoughts returning 🫵
Im not too sure about the outfit just yet, but maybe that will just be his marvel rivals design! He is also a trans man because we can't have enough representation🫵
"No matter how hard i try to remain positive, I sometimes dread that no matter what happens, my downfall will be inevitable. And is that not a frightening thought to have?"
Sól my sweet lady, lady of the sun, always shining so bright but what if you feel like your time to burn out is rapidly approaching, no matter what you try to do to avert this fate of yourself and your brother. What happens afterwards? Will you be remembered?
"I have seen my own death more times then I care to remember, I have seen my sister die a countless deaths in visions of futures, futures and timelines where nothing had been done to change the outcome of what has been foretold by the Norns."
Oh Màni you tragic little man, carrying more on your shoulders than you're willing to admit to anyone, seeing countless hopeless futures and hoping that none of them will be true in the timeline you exist in.
Hello hello, i am back with another silly little story for my massive bg3 au. This times its how one of my ocs wouldve been introduced in game should she have been a real character!
This isnt proof read, english isnt my first language, all mistakes are my own but who cares, I am being self indulgent

Travelling through the underdark has been nothing but uneventful. Every way they turn, the group runs into something else that needs to be fought or avoided. Not to say that Kaidan doesn't know what he is doing, but a peaceful day where they'd simply explore without any bad things happening would be a nice change of pace if you ask Gale.
The flora is very interesting to the wizard, occasionally he will point at something and start rambling about it. Questions sometimes leaving one of his companions he is currently travelling with. Ranging from Shadowheart asking about the flowers to Astarion wondering what would be the most useful to use for a poison. Kaidan would sometimes even be the one to point at something and ask Gale what it is.
If this is the most peaceful day they'll get, Gale will gladly take it.
They round a corner, Kaidan having spotted something that he felt the need to explore. The paladin suddenly darts ahead, the other three need to quicken their step in order to even try and catch up.
All of a sudden they hear the distinct sound of an armored person hitting the ground. A groan following. Gale is the first person to see Kaidan being pinned to the ground, a sword against his throat. The sword is being held by a woman clad in armor, she is half straddling Kaidan.
"Not a word, and I suggest your companions keep their distance as well," The woman's eyes dont leave Kaidan's face, but makes it known she is very aware of Astarion, Gale and Shadowheart. "There is no need for things to get bloody hm?"
There is a glint in Kaidan's eyes, one Gale has grown quite familiar with. Determination. Yet there is something else as well. Kaidan doesn't appear to be in a hurry to throw this stranger threathening his life off him.
"I was just about to say the same thing," the paladin's voice cuts through, and with one swift move Kaidan twists the arm of the woman and switches their position. The sword getting stabbed right next to her face into the ground. Kaidan leans on it with a smirk.
Gale's breath hitches, it shouldn't be that hot to see Kaidan manhandle people. But it stirs something in the wizard's chest. Maybe he should unpack that later.
"Care to tell me what you're doing in the underdark?" Kaidan's question makes Gale snap out of his thoughts.
"As of right now? I'm admiring the view, pretty boy," The woman smirks back up at Kaidan, a hand travelling up to rest on his thigh, playing with the cloth he keeps wrapped around his waist.
A soft chuckle escapes Kaidan, he adjusts the way he is straddling her, leaning more of his weight on the sword instead of on the woman. "Flattery won't make me get off you, and it certainly won't get you your sword back,"
"A shame, really,"
"Sure is, now tell me and you will be honest- why are you actually here?"
The two are having a conversation as if they know each other, Gale notes. And he isn't the only one who has picked up on it, Shadowheart and Astarion have also become aware of this.
"Care to explain what is going on here?" Astarion butts into the conversation, making both Kaidan and the woman look at him.
"I would tell you all about it, if Kaidan decides to move his heavy self off me-"
"Excuse you, i am not heavy- I am not even sitting on you!"
Gale holds his hands up, "How about we focus on one thing at a time, yes?" Finally having found his voice and hoping he can squash the up coming argument before it even has the chance to escalate.
Kaidan shoots Gale a smile, one that warms Gale's heart in an instant.
"Very well," The paladin stands up, taking the sword with him and extending a hand to help the woman to her feet. Which she happily accepts, once she is also standing she makes a move to snatch her sword back. Apparently Kaidan had predicted she would try this and immediately holds the sword above his head and far out of her reach.
Before it can become a goose chase, Kaidan hands the sword to Gale.
"Hold this for me please Gale, and don't give it to her,"
Gale takes the sword and looks it over, its certainly unique, one of a kind, used and loved if the scratches are anything to go off. He then looks at the woman, her green emerald eyes piercing his own brown ones. She appears to be pouting. Gale is about to speak up and tell her that pouting won't make him give it to her. But Kaidan is already a step ahead, always is.
"Now, where were we?" Kaidan crosses his arms, raising a brow when the woman sighs in frustration.
The woman stops pouting at Gale and instead focuses her attention back on the paladin. Gale lets out a breath, gods those eyes seemed to be staring right through his very soul.
"Well, you wanted to know why I am here,"
"Correct,"
A snort, "Gods you are just as insufferable as I remember you being. Well, if you must know my sweet little paladin, I've been sent here to collect ingredients to take back to Baldur's gate. Back home,"
"Why would you need-"
A throb in all their heads causes them to groan and hiss in pain, their tadpoles connecting with the one that is apparently squirming around in the woman's skull. Flashes of memories of Baldur's gate, a voice telling her to fetch things in the underdark in the hopes this would cure her from the tadpole. A muttered prayer to Ilmater before the connection severs.
"Fuck! What was that?" The woman exclaims, holding her head while glaring daggers at the four of them.
"You're infected with an Ilithid parasite as well," Shadowheart states the obvious, they had all felt the worms connect.
"Damned and doomed," The woman sighs dramatically. "That thing is the actual reason I'm here, but you already saw that,"
Kaidan looks at them all with an unreadable expression before his face lights up.
"You should travel with us Brooklyn, we've been trying to find a cure for that damned thing and so have you,"
'Brooklyn' the woman's identity now being revealed, seems to tense up for a moment before allowing her body to relax.
"Very well," She moves over to where Gale is still standing with her sword in his hands, holding up her hands, she makes a motion with them to the wizard to hand it back to her.
"My sword please, dearest Wizard of Kaidan," Gale's cheeks flush a little, he gives her the sword back without making a fuss. She smirks at him, her eyes twinkling dangerously.
"I'm Brooklyn, but you knew that already thanks to Kaidan being unable to keep things to himself." This earned a soft protest from Kaidan behind them.
Clearing his throat, Gale adjusts himself, "Gale of Waterdeep,"
"Shadowheart,"
"The name's Astarion,"
One by one they introduce themselves, and she nods after each name. A soft smile on her face when Kaidan closes in and puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Now that you know everyone, we best get moving. Back to camp where there are more people to be met."
Brooklyn turns around and smacks Kaidan straight in the chest. "Good, I've been dying to be around people again."
Old friends, Gale realises the two bicker and banter as. Another ally Kaidan seems to know from childhood. How many more will they bump into he wonders..
