You can LIKE a character, but not condone their actions, it’s really that simple. You would not akin a villain stan to being someone who condones the actions of a real life mass murderer, so don’t do the same for us.)

It is often hard for people to separate their feelings from real life occurrences and situations that mirror that in their favorite media and that is completely valid. But this can sometimes come across aggressive and I will tell you now, there is little you can do to change a persons mind.They are valid to feel the way they do especially if the subject hits too close to home. However, it is not okay to attack other people who don’t have the same experience and belittle or call them horrible things for liking a character in fiction.

Do yourself a favor, don’t interact. Blocking is such a powerful tool, use it. It costs zero dollars to hit that block button and relieve your headache. scrolling through your fav tag and see something you don’t like? BLOCK. The internet is vast and wide and you will not miss a single thing removing that person from your freetime to enjoy what you love.  ❤

the cries of "you support incest and pedophilia" from antis when they mean "you create fiction or drawings that have dark or intense themes" reminds me a lot of how instead of using accurate language for abortions, ie. "you perform abortions," anti-choice groups will say "you're killing infants" and "they are chopping up babies!!" instead of "you're removing a bundle of cells from the uterus" or "terminating a pregnancy that is no longer viable or is a danger to the patient"

why do they do this? because the truth and accurate language doesn't generate enough outrage, it doesn't generate as visceral of a reaction as less accurate language does. its a tactic thats been utilized time and again to control ppl.

I’m totally obsessed with this new ship of mine. Totally not imagining Duncan watching Paul sleep and he should be sleeping too but he wants to be there when Paul unavoidably wakes from his dreams. And maybe he has just woken up from a nightmare that Paul was killed and he wasn’t there to protect his boy.

I’m definitely not thinking about soft stolen moments where Duncan cups the back of Paul’s head and rests his forehead on Paul’s. Them just existing in each other’s space.

Nor am I thinking about Paul “abusing” his nobility privilege to have Duncan almost always at his side. Not always because Duncan is his own person and loyal to the whole family and shit. But you can’t tell me if Paul can he wouldn’t want Duncan there.

op i hope you dont mind me adding but here’s a pastebin with A LOT of resources for those who want to play renplat. this includes wild mons, trainer mons, type changes (eg golduck is water/psychic) and tons of stuff to help with walkthroughs

some other stuff:

you can get all 12 starters from the first 4 generations without trading or using the pal park. you can also get beldum from a very special person in oreburgh town. you Also get an eevee practically at the start of your adventure

shiny rate ingame is 1/512 but there’s patches to make it 4096 or 8192. 512 is still pretty rare but you get the poke radar very early which means you can shiny hunt from the start

there’s a patch that removes all pokemon changes so it plays more like vanilla platinum, as well as patches to adjust the speed so it doesn’t run at 30FPS

in solaceon town, there’s an npc that will help you ev train your mons. this happens after you get three badges and complete a sidequest so it’s pretty early

eggs don’t take too long to hatch, and happiness evolutions have changed so they occur earlier. for eeveelutions you can just use ye olde evolution stones, and you have the option to get leafeon or glaceon without visiting eterna forest or route 216
