Fibonacci: Hmm... I sure wish there was a way to mathematically represent an empty quantity.

Twenty-one tons of potatoes are up for grabs at Potato Palooza on Monday.
The nonprofit’s set to receive a donation of 21 tons of tubers this weekend from suppliers in the Midwest. Hoping to get the starchy vegetables to people in need, the nonprofit will host a “Potato Palooza” event on Monday in Park Hill. “Anyone is welcome to come. They can bring tote bags, wagons, you could back up your pickup truck if you wanted to,” Hissong said. The event is 9 a.m. to noon at the Park Hill Food Recovery Hub, 6090 East 39th Avenue, on July 27.

A lot of problems with modern gaming... and here talking about all types, video games, tabletop games, card games... can be traced back to Gamer™ becoming an identity rather than an actual hobby.
It birthed a people who considered gaming an essential part of their identity rather than something they did because they enjoyed it... which means they have to do it whether they enjoy it or not, or that identity is in danger.
I remember so many times on /tg/ seeing threads full of absolutely miserable people complaining how they hated the game they were in. They hated the system, they hated the schedule, they hated the place they were playing, they hated the people they were playing with. So I'd say "So stop going." And they'd say it was the only game they could find. And I'd tell them, "So just don't have a game, it's better than torturing yourself." But no, it wasn't, not to them; the idea that no game was better than a game that caused them nothing but unhappiness and pain was treated like insanity.
Gamer as an identity is what's led to the prevalence of FOMO and consooming. They all complain endlessly about the slop, but they are driven to consume the slop anyway because otherwise they wouldn't be a gamer anymore.
5001 being divisible by 3 doesnt feel right
Shortcuts to determine if an integer is divisible by:
This is a given.
If the last digit is divisible by 2 (a.k.a. even), then so is the whole number.
If the sum of the digits is divisible by 3, then so is the whole number. The recursivity of this means that if the sum has multiple digits, you can add them up again until you get a single digit and see if it's 3, 6, or 9.
Like the rule for 2, but check if the last two digits are divisible by 4.
If it ends in 5 or 0.
If the rules for both 2 and 3 apply.
No shortcut. Alas.
Like the rules for 2 and 4, but check if the last three digits are divisible by 8. (Yes, this pattern keeps going for 16, 32, etc.)
Like the rule for 3, but the sum of the digits (or the sum of the sum of the digits, etc.) must be 9.
If it ends in 0.
#THIS POST IS WRONG 7 DOES HAVE A RULE FOR HOW TO TELL IF THE NUMBER IS DIVISIBLE#it's just. not a short cut#you're better off dividing it and seeing if you get a whole number than doing the method
but what IS the rule @anqelbean ???
Okay, so, basically, you remove the least important digit of the number (which is the first digit from the right), you double it, and then subtract it from the remaining number. If the number you get is still large, you do it again.
For example, 294
29 4
4×2=8
29-8=21
21 is divisible by 7
Second example, 1946
194 6
6×2=12
194-12=182
182 is still large, so let do it again
18 2
2×2=4
18-4=14
14 is divisible by 7
June and July are the same months btw. They want you to think they're two different months but it's the same month that's 60 days long. Same way August is actually August and the first half of September
doesnt like it
So, I'm sitting here, watching something on a streaming service, and I keep getting a specific advertisement.
I keep getting Trivago commercials, and at first, they're weird, and a bit unsettling, but you can't place a finger on why, but after the 500th advertisement, you notice why it's unsettling.
The actors move robotically, their lips are synchronized with the words strangely, lining up, but out of sync, yet the most unsettling part is the actors are too detailed but look fake.
So, after some googling, I discovered my gut feeling is right, Trivago uses one actor, they record the lines, and then they use AI to modify the actor's voice, and then create multiple people generated from previous, real Trivago commercials, where they hired real actors.
They also use AI to edit out actors from old, and real commercials, which I didn't notice as I'd seen the same commercial hundreds of times that they blur together;
There's a very specific kind of hatred on display here and I'm here for it
i hope that someday there will be no more advertisements ever again
