I don’t like it.
It’s just like Jazz for people who don’t like Jazz. They just don’t like it. So who am I to judge art? I may just humbly give my lesser opinions.
To me it just a big mess. Nothing made sense, no point was really put up. I kept wondering what mood it tried to convey, and every time I thought I got what was going on, the film just jump right into something else completely unrelated. Sebastian and Mia’s relationship was so poorly established that the climaxes just felt... shallow. And the jokes are just anything but witty. I spent most of the film asking what the hell was happening. Complete mumbo jumbo.
It’s not because of the fact that I dislike musicals, it’s just that this musical in this particular movie doesn’t make sense to me. It’s almost like the script was written by a Bollywood playwright, and even Bollywood don’t use musical in 90% their films’ duration. Not like I’m an expert or something, but it could have been a much better romance if they could just stick to their roots. It felt so half-baked.
The simple, yet beautiful scene that kinda salvaged two hours of ???
Have always been a fan of Ryan Gosling, putting up a defense for him not just being an eyecandy. However... well I guess this time I guess it’s the script’s fault. But please, Ryan, just... don’t screw up Blade Runner 2049.

Kill Bill (2002)
The only time you’ll ever see Won Bin plays a retard.

Leo’s best role yet.
Django Unchained (2012)
One measly bullet, and there goes Channing Tatum.
The Hateful Eight (2015)
Oldboy (2004)
(Not the 2013 one, for fuck’s sake)
