how it feels to get a sequel to something that is different from the original and expands on the premise of the original in a really cool and interesting way rather than it just being more of the original. but the masses are all devoid of thought and emotion and critical thinking skills and they’re all just like ‘waaaawaaaa i wanted the Original: 2…. this is too different…. no i wont engage with the premise…..’ and you have to sit there and watch. and watch the creators get shit on for making a new, grander, better thing. and you are just sitting there

I imagine since Christopher is the only guy who doesn't seem to think that the water is bad, he has some kind of biological oddity that makes it have a different effect on him, where instead of making him forget things it acts as an addictive substance. The water "making him stronger" is just like how people take drugs they feel stronger in the moment
