Hi, howdy, welcome.

I'm revamping this blog and my others, so good time for a reintroduction.

I'm Nixie, though I've gone by Shae, Kya, and more over the years. That's all still me, and I'll answer to any, but Nixie is the current running name as far as my online presence goes.

For anyone new, you don't know the lore so a quick version: I am 38, a wildly random, ADHD-ridden, sex positive, Fandom hoarding, mostly woman, and book dragon. I use primarily she pronouns with a side of they. I am queer, pan in all the ways, polyam with a huge side of trauma and mental illness which present plenty of challenges around that, a writer when I'm not smothered, an artist, and a lot of other things. I am kink positive, my body is my temple, and I have rules of engagement.

1. My content, on all my blogs including the adult one, can be reblogged, tagged, etc. I read all tags, they are little treats, and I love them. I will engage back often.

2. My inbox and asks are also open. I'm friendly, but not open to unsolicited nudity, sexual propositions, etc, especially from strangers. Come at me with respect or I will share your shit publicly.

3. Respect, as mentioned above, is currency for me. Treat me kindly, I'll be your best friend. Don't, and I'll burn that bridge to ash and never look back.

If you were/are one of the mutuals, I love you all. I am coming out of a rough couple of years, including an attempt that I'm glad to have survived. I may not be the same person entirely that you knew before, I've grown and changed, but I am happy for you to get to know the new me too. 💕

the thing that bothers me with 7 deadly sin based characters is when they cant decide if they embody the sin by suffering from it or by drawing it out of others. ie. if your gluttony demon is a guy who loves eating then your lust demon should be a gooner sex pest. and if your lust demon is a seductive girlboss then your gluttony demon should be a 5 star chef. does this make sense.

Your Protagonist is a Liar. If your story follows only the main character, we see things how they see them. A main character is an unreliable storyteller, if they mean it or not. We, just like the MC, aren't in other characters' minds. So, moments are misinterpreted. Your main character sees the world through their own biases. We only know the main character's impressions of the side characters, and the villains. We read only their perception of these characters.

That doesn't make them a villain, its normal. It's realistic and purely understandable. They can't fill gaps of information simply because they weren't there. So, they make assumptions, they make judgements, they remember things incorrectly. Memory isn't perfect, details are changed or forgotten. It's only natural.

Let your protagonist lie. Maybe they don’t even realize they’re doing it. Maybe they do. See what happens.
