Mai calmly greets two of the newcomers, but at the sight of the third, she places a hand on her change brace. "Basco. Don't think we've forgotten what you did to get the Changeman's Grand Power. Leave now."

“We’re here for lunch.” Rin smiles. 

“Lunch and coffee with actual caffeine content.” Mai answers.

“Hai! How spicy do you prefer your curry, hm?” Ikura quickly stamps off a Changeman and Dairanger spot on her bingo cards, two cards which probably won’t get filled out for a while. It just seems really hard to find less recent sentai nowadays, for whatever reason.

“We’ll just take the mild bowls for now. This is a quick lunch break for us.”

“Alright! So….what’s got you two stretched for time?”

“Mai has to get back and get the Shuttlebase ready for the new interns. And I need to get back to the forge so I can finish the designs for an upgraded form for the Gokaigers.”

“I see….here you go!” Ikura’s curry prep skills are unmatched.

"Thank you." Both women eat, rather gracefully and silently, until the curry bowls are gone. Mai pays the lunch and thanks Ikura for a job well done.

With a few more tweaks, Rin finishes the project she’s working on. She lays the bandolier to one side, and picks up her phone. The number she has should be good enough to get in contact with some one who can test it out.

The phone rings, going right to voicemail.

“Hello. This is Tenpuusei Rin, of the Dairangers. GokaiPink, I have designed a new weapon that may benefit the Gokaigers, and I would be honored if you would be the first to test it. Please meet me at Quarry number 4 today,if you are interested.”

Ahim is having tea on the Galleon, enjoying the quiet afternoon, besides the daily bickering and rowdiness of her crew. She is contemplating making another batch of cookies for everyone when she hears her cellular go off from the kitchen where she left it. Ahim instantly gets up and runs in but the call goes to voicemail and she sighs, flipping the phone open to see who it was. She didn’t recognize the number so frowned and dialed voice mail while everyone was in the other room then listened carefully. “Dairanger? Tenpuusei Rin?” She looked up in surprise after hearing the message, then looked to the other room. A new power? A new weapon? The girl claimed she was from Dairanger…could she trust that? She flipped the cell closed then stared at it a moment. The girl knew her, knew her identity, and had her number. “I have to find out..who she is..” she mumbled to herself.

Ahim took another moment to think, sighed, then pocketed her cell, leaning against the table to contemplate the best course of action. Ten minutes later, Ahim was off the Galleon, the excuse of running errands a way to prevent anyone else from following. “Quarry..number 4…Quarry..number 4..” Now she was walking, looking out for the quarry where she would meet the mysterious woman hopefully and not find a trap waiting.

When Ahim arrives at the Quarry, she's greeted by the sight of a target range, with the targets looking like various Zangyack minions. Standing by a table with a set of noise-cancelling headphones and a large briefcase is a woman about Ahim's height, wearing a pair of blue jeans and a light pink t-shirt underneath a blacksmith's apron.

Rin looks up, smiling as Ahim approaches. "Hello. I'm glad you came. I was afraid you wouldn't, and you'd miss out on this."

She opens the briefcase, holding out a golden bandolier. Inside it are set a number of pink and white gems, each one with a miniature version of a sentai warrior's mask inside.

"This is Command Mode, an upgrade for your team. It will grant you additional armor on your arms, chest, and legs, and also allow you  to summon duplicates of past rangers to fight alongside you."
