Attraverso la voce del protagonista, le immagini girate tra il 2009 e il 2010 raccontano le giornate di Luca (20 anni), giovane pastore della malga di Smarano e Sfruz (m. Roen), e dei suoi altrettanto giovani colleghi e amici. La condivisione di una giornata con Luca guida lo spettatore in un viaggio attraverso la montagna, dove è il sole a scandire il tempo e dove le strade sono sentieri, e la città , dove tutto è rumore. La scelta di lavorare in quota e lo studio artistico convivono nell'esperienza del protagonista e dimostrano che non sempre siamo costretti a decidere da che parte stare. Una storia semplice sullo sfondo della montagna e di un mestiere antico, di cui spesso si ha una percezione distorta e distaccata, che oggi offre l'occasione di riflettere sul rapporto con il paesaggio e il passato. // Through the voice of the protagonist, the images shot between 2009 and 2010 tell of the days of Luca (20 years), a young shepherd who works in the hut of Smarano and Sfruz (Roen mount), and his equally young colleagues and friends. Sharing a day with Luca leads the viewer on a journey through the mountains, where is the sun to mark the time and where the roads are paths, and the city, where everything is noise. The choice of working on altitude and the studies of art live together with the experience of the protagonist showing us that we aren't always forced to decide which side they are. A simple story against the backdrop of mountains and an ancient craft, which often have a distorted perception and detached, which now offers an opportunity to reflect on the relationship with the landscape and the past.
