My name is Pika and I'm from the Lone Star State of Texas!

This blog will be centered around the Welcome to the Table (WTTT) series by Ben Brainard on TikTok/Youtube! It is my latest hyperfixation and I adore the characters soooo much! I used to be really into Hetalia, so falling into this fandom makes a lot of sense haha I've always wanted to get into drawing fanart, learning how to draw digitally, practice creating character designs, and make super cute couple drawings (as of rn, I really want to draw TexaCali), so I figured I can post my stuff here for y'all to enjoy as well!

Reflective Austin core

Texas is sitting bored out of his mind during a meeting w a bunch of his politicians and he makes the GRAVE mistake of glancing towards the window. And in his reflection (that only TX and other personifications can see) is Austin fucking gangam style dancing in the glass with a shit eating grin on his face.

He's trying to make Texas laugh and get him in trouble, and it's almost working. Tex is mad red in the face and is doing everything in his power to not laugh, but it just keeps getting funnier to him.

yeah, he seems like the type!

He canonically plays Animal Crossing but I feel like he'd play other games too! He'd probably play a lot of the Zelda games. He'd probably also like Minecraft. He'd probably also like some more obscure games, probably would enjoy stuff like Planet Zoo, the Shelter games, Wolfquest, and Niche.

Omg, I can totally imagine Austin and Cali in a car (or Texas' truck) driving around, and before they get into an accident, Texas takes over and steers them out of trouble like a pro 🤣

Maybe this is also why California and Austin are so for public transportation... because they can't drive 🤣😭 (but it's also just a really good idea)

Cal: He's probably thinking about SpongeBob again...

I love the idea that Texas hates SpongeBob and Patrick alright. He didn't like the shit they were talking about him to get Sandy to stay. He loves Sandy though. I feel like I was a little heavy handed shading them but whatever they'll be okay.

Bc Cal canonically has Tumblr I like to think that he’d just drop some of our banger quotes sometimes.

Like he overhears a religious discussion between the southern states and he just chimes in with “God may judge you but his sins outnumber your own.” And just walks away as the other states just stare at him like: ❓❓❓❓

Or like he and Texas are talking fighting and he just goes: “The rage in your heart warms you now but it will leave you cold in your grave” and Texas is so thrown he just doesn’t respond????

Or like he overhears something he shouldn’t have and just goes “it’s not my job to pry, it’s the government’s” (he then proceeds to snoop)

Or like one of the other states is like “goddamit gas prices are too high” and Cal just goes “You are rearranging desk chairs on the Titanic, my friend, this is not our most pressing issue.”

Him and Texas are arguing again and Texas goes “I beg to differ” and Cal just responds “then beg”

Or like Texas is at Cal’s apartment and Cal is flirting with him but Texas is having a conniption about religion and Cal just goes “We can do any sins we want. There are no gods here to observe them.”

Or Trump does ANOTHER illegal thing and Gov is trying to spin it into legality and Cal just goes: “Educated criminals work within the law”

Or Gov is asking Cal if he can PLEASE just cooperate it’s getting annoying and Cal just bites back “Heavy is the crown and light as a feather is the banner of rebellion.”
