Elvis performed twice on this day. First, at the Johnson-Connelley Pontiac Showroom in Lubbock, Texas, Buddy Holly (then of Buddy & Bud) and Elvis Presley appeared together at an autograph session at the Lubbock car dealership.
Then at 8 pm, Elvis performed at the Fair Park Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas.
