okay since I’ve been away from tumblr/the internet for a while, here’s a life update :)

Got a 4.0 through the entire university school year! Hooray!

Just got back from a wonderful trip to Ireland. I wish I could’ve stayed for a whole year.

Got a promotion for the job I currently work at my uni! I’m going from a volunteer-ish role to a paid position.

I’ll also be a teacher’s assistant in an anatomy class next semester with a professor I adore!

I am working on more fanfics!! Now that it’s summer I’ll have more time. I’ve got WIPs for Terror, Amadeus (1984), ER, and Criminal Minds! :)

as a rami malek fanatic, I ate up every second of The Little Things. as an aspiring forensic scientist, I had a lot of questions about the film’s chain of evidence command

the saddest part about the new Erebus IDs to me? the observations made about David Young’s skeletal remains

he was visibly smaller than the rest. presumably a smaller stature and less robust bones. and the saddest thing to me was that his wisdom teeth hadn’t even erupted yet. he is the only mandible found so far to not have his wisdom teeth. he was so, so young, and yet he managed to survive for years and walk all the way to Erebus Bay. most importantly, he wasn’t alone when he died :(
