There's cameras all up in the store anyways. They'll see you whether or not you see yourself on a screen while you're doing it. It's meant to intimidate you

They do not actually try to get you for shoplifting unless they catch you in the act until it's become a felony, and that's if they recognise you at the point it becomes one anyways

A felony for shoplifting is whenever the total you've shoplifted went over 1k dollars. They hold out on giving you a misdemeanor as a hopes to get you on a felony. But they won't even fucking remember you by that point any goddamn ways, especially if you take from multiple different stores,

I've shoplifted for almost 4 years. I have definitely taken over 1k dollars of shit. The only time I got caught was because they were watching teenagers on the cameras live due to an influx of delinquent shoplifting that month. And that was when I was 14, I have not been caught for 3 years since and I have shoplifted every single time I've went to the stores
