CHRIS PINE for The Rake Magazine, October 2022 | photography KURT ISWARIENKO
Fear runs our lives a lot of the time. You can face it head-on, or you can hide in your bunker. Happy 41st birthday, Christopher Whitelaw Pine! (August 26, 1980)

Smiley Jim: a beautiful sight.
In light of the recent release of Outlaw King I want to state that this blog will not be posting any content related to Chris' junk. He worked hard to bring Robert the Bruce and his story to screen, expressing an emotionally and morally complex individual. Chris deserves respect for this work.
While it may seem hypocritical coming from a blog called "PineTush", I hate objectifying men the same way as I hate women being objectified. Chris is an immensely talented actor and intelligent human being who speaks out on very concerning issues of equality in our society. I have a profound appreciation for him as an individual.
His junk is not the centerpiece of the movie. It's a plot device to show how the character is fundamentally a human animal. I won't partake in promoting something that Chris is openly disgusted by: how his nude scene has become the focal point of the media attention.
He deserves so much more respect than that!
