Butch on Butch: A Social Gaffe of the Highest Order, On Our Backs Summer 1988
You've got to be more afraid of abandoning yourself than disappointing other people.
Sure you can be a lesbian if you change the word lesbian to mean something totally different but you'll never be a homosexual female. Sad!
Autistic men are somehow horrible at all social norms except misogyny
Cowboy4Cowboy
sometimes your distress does indicate you should stop and respect your limitations. at other times it's more of a baby aquatic mammal being introduced to water for the first time thing. Too bad the difference is so hard to tell.
Conservative homophobes compare homosexuality to paraphilias to attack homosexuals. Queer homophobes compare homosexuality to paraphilias to defend their paraphilias. Both agree homosexuality is comparable to a fetish and get enraged when homosexuals oppose them
practicing my hot weather affirmations. You are not evil, you are just sweating. You do not hate your friends you are just walking down a street with no shade. You aren’t anger incarnate, you just need a glass of water.
happy belated yuri day and pride 💕👩❤️💋👩 just some girls kissing, from a new sketch page you can view fully on my patreon !
Trans men in my replies: I understand where you’re coming from but I just have some key ideological differences perhaps we could have a civil discussion over DMs and
Trans women in my replies: get raped and die ugly cumslut foid
ex best friends are just. i will never love anyone the way i loved you. you hurt me so much in a way only you could. i still think about you on your birthday and wish i could be there celebrating with you. i hate that things ended the way they did. i don’t think anyone will ever understand me like you did. i miss our inside jokes. i’ll never forget you and i wish all of the dreams we talked about come true for you. i hope i never hear anything about it. i miss you. i never want to see you again.
Stop trying to push gender non-conforming women out of womanhood
Something I've noticed about women who identify as trans men (not all) is that they reinforce misogyny towards other women and toxic masculinity as a way to affirm themselves. That's not a good look if you ask me.
You know what's the actual most annoying form of lesphobia? It's that thing society does where they'll dogpile a lesbian for inane shit, but without expressly being lesphobic. Like Ellen DeGeneres being crucified for *checks notes* telling jokes and firing employees for sexual harassment. Or Sam Kerr's cancellation for throwing up in a taxi, as tho that isn't a grand australian tradition.
As a lesbian it's pretty obvious to me what's going on when I see yet another lesbian copping nationwide outrage for drinking water or something, but to everyone else viewing it in isolation it's not obvious because the headline is never just straight up "this filthy dyke" (bc that's illegal these days). So the straight people will be there en masse with their most unhinged takes and as long as they tip toe around actually being expressly lesphobic they can maintain their precious plausible deniability. It's such a misogyny-coded version of homophobia. Just gaslighting on an industrial scale.
Today's example:
How many young heterosexual couples bought a house today and posted a selfie with the sold sign, sans this headline to go with it? These two women actually did work, two fulltime jobs, since they were teens, just to save up a %5 deposit for a shitty apartment and a 30 year mortgage. But if I explain how this dogpile is only happening because everyone is lesphobic, I'm the crazy one. Someone's gotta start documenting this specific kind of lesphobia because right now the straight ppl are like "ahahaha ur overreacting" *punches drywall*.
The idea that lesbians dislike penises and that gay men dislike vaginas only because of some social conditioning is deeply stupid because there is literally no society on Earth that conditions women to be attracted to vaginas and to dislike penises, and men to be attracted to penises and to dislike vaginas. TRAs tell us to "unpack" our "genital preference" (aka our natural sexual orientation that cannot be changed) as if that's something we've learned, but where exactly have we learned it? In this homophobic, heteronormative world that considers PIV to be the only valid form of sex, that tells all young kids that they're gonna marry someone of the opposite sex one day, that only shows straight couples on TV 99% of the time, in which most people still think same-sex couples are disgusting, in this world that actively tries to convince homosexuals that we're attracted to the opposite sex and that our sexuality is just a phase or a disease, how could we learn to dislike the opposite sex and to only be attracted to the same sex? How chronically online, disconnected from reality, ignorant about everything related to homosexuality and homophobia you have to be to think that? Nothing, no one in society pushes women to dislike penises and men to dislike vaginas. To think otherwise is ridiculous.
