the rings of power (2022) would have been funnier if sauron was so burnt out from being evil that his powers glitched. flying birds would die around him and animals would hiss at him. flowers and trees would rot when he walks by. he blinks and gets snake eyes. when he gets mad, it snows on a sunny day. when he sneezes, buildings crash. he drags random passerbys into terrifying, scream-inducing visions just by accidentally brushing hands in a crowd. he gets the occasional demonic voice crack and has to cough it out. and galadriel? she thinks halbrand has been cursed by sauron

I'd truly be the worst person to stick into a timeloop because I'd really just spend the first 5 years catching up on my book tbr, the next 7 on all the movies and shows that've Been On My List for ages, and then another decade on ao3. like sure nothing may stick but my memories will and i can just go into a supermarket to get snacks and wine each day, and i have art to indulge in. like thanks for the hints on how to get out but respectfully, I am busy

I think my girl Samantha Carter deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor.
Major/Lieutenant Colonel Sam being the brains WITH brawn (and a crack shot to boot) of SG-1, saving our Galaxy a dozen times over while getting the respect she deserves from her peers. Doesn't let something like a little crush on her Commanding Officer slow her down. Literally her ONLY drawback is the occasional bout of poor writing.
Goes through hell over and over without hesitation and always manages to pull her team out of the fire, kicking many asses along the way.
Truly one of the Sci-Fi Women of all time.
