Ok, so, while I’m glad there were actual artists involved, maybe Take That should look into hiring ones that don’t incorporate AI use into their creative process? If for no other reason than, conceptually, the mv idea is neat and it’s honestly maddening to think that the team had hand-drawn animation to work with and could have created a genuinely interesting final product with it had they left it alone but the instant they ran it through AI filters they ended up with a final product that looks artificial, amateurish, and cheap and which makes literally no one looking at it aware that there is any work from human artists there because all you can see is the AI.

potential ai slop - 2/10 (being generous)

i didn't HATE it. visually it looks great - without all the added unnecessary crap - and it's so nice to have a new take that video at last. but when you've got borderline masterpieces like windows, greatest day - which are simple but effective, this is honestly a little disappointing.

(for the record, i don't think it's their fault. it's likely the video was shot and then handed over to editors without a second thought from the guys themselves. and dwelling on it won't solve the ongoing problem with ai. but it doesn't look good, it's lazy and it's an insult to three men who in and of themselves are extremely gifted individuals.)
