It was a Saturday after noon. Miles parents had been out and about running errands and all he had been worrying about was lining up at the GameStop across the block to get the new NBA 2K which he had been saving up for.

Turning around the box and serving him his plate with a smile that desperately wanted to see his reaction to the baked good.
Anxiously looking at his watch miles looked at the cake then to you, “Y/N listen… the new NBA 2K is about to be released and if we don’t go now they’ll be sold out so how about I try it after?” He pleaded
Frowning you looked at the slice, “but if you don’t try it how will I know I perfected the recipe?” You added, “also what if the whipped crème gets stale?”
There was no way he was winning this one.
Taking a hold of the fork miles took a big chunk of the cake and put it in his mouth. The sweet combination of the cake and strawberries filled his senses. Gunning down the rest of the cake miles hummed in enjoyment and threw down the fork.
Wasting no time his hand connected with yours and pulled you out the door. At this point your boyfriend had you both bolting along the sidewalk to get into the line of people that gathered outside the GameStop.
While you both heaved for air after running down the crazy flight of stairs that his apartment building included you had to make one thing clear,

“What a loser? You were always cheerful and not a second went by where you weren’t supportive to those around you but after witnessing your sense of disappointment in him ao’nung never wanted to make you feel that way again.
So when the next day came ao’nung gathered up his friends and told them they were all going to apologize to the sully family.
“Do we really have to apologize?” One of them groaned following behind ao’nung

Sitting on the soft sand your hands weaved together straw to make baskets for the villages when your vision went dark from two hands covering your eyes. Propping yourself out of bed you put your slippers on and went downstairs, ready to tell Alfred all about it. It being the afternoon since you were never an early riser the smell of lunch followed you on the way to the dining room.

Picking your character you chose Scorpion. The character had helped you win a lot of fights you just couldn’t say no. As for your boyfriend he picked Mileena claiming she was too badass to loose.
“I swear you’re going to be wiped out the second the game starts”
“Rather cocky aren’t you” you scoffed. When it came to other things you and Ryusuke always tried to agree to things but when it came to challenges you both were sure competitive. When the group would have challenges everyone would fall out quickly leaving you and ryusuke to compete for the win.
‘FIGHT!’
Spamming the keys of your controller you were first to get a hit. Quite a few actually making ryusukes character loose a tad bit of health. He was quick to strike back though by slashing your character with the blades on her knuckles but you sent out your metal rope pulling her in and sending a uppercut her way and backup hits.
Looking toward his health bar ryusuke started to get nervous and spammed his keys making his character repeatly kick you into the air and than punch you as you landed to the floor. Now you had less health than him and resulted to your only option so early in the game.
Pressing two keys down you did your final move, your metal rope had a dagger that pierced right into ryusukes character and Scorpion pulled the chain back. “GET OVER HERE!!”
Turning to you ryusuke sulked, “you really had to do me like that this early in the game”
“You made it hard not to” shutting down your controller and placed a big smooch on his cheek. Pulling you into his lap you maneuvered around so your legs were straddling his legs. He remained quiet with his eyes on yours than he put a hand pointing to his lips earning a confused look from you.
He continued to point to his lips till you finally got the message. A loud ‘oh’ escaped your mouth than your smooched his lips even saying ‘mwah’ after you did.
“I never would’ve thought you guessed I wanted a kiss you took forever” he laughed
“Says mr pointy here I shouldve slapped your lips instead” you huffed over exaggerating for the fun of it
