Spring Development Seminar-Chicago 2018
As you know, here at Pinnacle 502, we are all about constant learning and development. This past weekend, the Pinnacle team attended a Leadership Development Seminar to do just that, and boy did they learn a lot! The Seminar had numerous speakers, talking on a variety of topics, such as: mentality, team building, and successful time management.
The speaker on time management was fantastic! She spoke about how time management isn’t just keeping a planner or a schedule, it’s about routine. Successful people have a “successful” routine, meaning they have a routine that sets up their day to be the most productive. We all have 24 hours in a day, the difference really is how you use your time to be your best self.
There were a lot of pens to paper, taking notes, for the final speaker. He spent a good deal of time talking about mindset, and how it is a choice. One chooses how their attitude is. He went on to give some tips on how people could start changing their mindset. This included reading more books, even suggesting the book “Choose Yourself”. Reading challenges the mind, and teaches ands helps someone realize things that they couldn’t quite think of on their own. This lead to his next tip: Challenge conventional wisdom. There is of course wisdom of things, people and places, but here is also wisdom of yourself, and how you can change the way you think, just by deciding to do so. His final tip was to “have an attitude of gratitude.” Be grateful for the opportunity of success, and for other people and their success. “Gratitude and envy cannot live in the same heart,” he said. The speech was impactful, to say the least. There were a lot of pens to paper in the room!
We also had some recognition given out this Spring! Felix, one of our Senior Account Managers, and myself, were both recognized for their outstanding performance for the year, as well for their examples of leadership that they show. I speak for Felix and I both when I say were are so honored and thankful for the opportunity to be apart such an awesome group and business!
By the end of the Seminar, the Pinnacle 502 crew had pages and pages worth of notes, and were so excited to get back to work, attacking their goals, and to help others do the same. It was definitely a weekend full of learning, networking and inspiration, and they’re very excited to see what’s in store for the next Seminar in the Fall!

Eddie's Tips on How to Choose YOUR Right Opportunity
With the month of May and graduation just around the corner for students all over the country, it can be a bit overwhelming preparing for the next step. Well, April showers bring May flowers, and those flowers bloom in the form of brand new exciting employment opportunities. Here are some tips from our President, Eddie, on how to capitalize on those opportunities.
1. Keep an Open MindJust like new foods, you never know how a job will be until you try it. Apply for anything the piques your interest, and at least explore the options you have available to you. Often times, you find your ideal match where you least expect it.
2. Make Informed DecisionsA lot of times, your friends and family will provide opinions on potential careers for which they have no experience. Do the research yourself, and make the choices that you personally are happy with. After all, you are the one who will be living with the results.
3. Be Yourself in the InterviewYou don't want to be hired at a company that thinks you're someone that you aren't. Let your personality shine, so that you know they like the real you.
4. Do Your HomeworkOnce you make a decision on where your ideal career fit is, put in the effort to be over prepared on your first day. Employers will take note of the initiative and hold you in higher esteem.
5. Go All InDon't just put one foot in with a new career. Do a cannonball! If you fully immerse yourself, you will truly get the most out of it. You can't expect to reach your fullest potential with only partial effort.
just in case you needed a smile on this Tuesday morning!😍
