European Colonialism

European colonialism runs deep. It has roots inside all of its citizens. It blinds the population to the human condition. During the negotiations of the Nuremberg Trial there was no debate on whether the invasion of Nazi Germany to Poland was a Crime of aggression (which they called a Crime against peace). They, however, payed close attention to they way to define Crimes Against Humanity so that what they judged could not be later applied to them for their treatment of their own citizens. The very unsettling and telling fact is that such a concern did not arise from the crime of aggression. What about colonialism? Why is the invasion of Poland any different than the invasion of any African territory? Why was this not a concern? Why are they not granted the principle of sovereignty? Why is this not even a problem to considere? Because humanity, and sovereignty, and independence, and reason, and rights, inside the European mind, belong to white europeans. All else is excluded. So deeply excluded, that it is not even considered.
