Fallstreak holes are natural phenomena that often get mistaken for UFOs. These ‘hole punch clouds’ occur when water droplets inside a cloud freeze and fall beneath it, creating a large gap that looks like a perfect hiding place for a flying saucer.

Aliens, obvi.

The rarity of fallstreak holes is what tends to throw people.

That paired with the tendency to look at anything in the sky and cry ‘UFO!’ is the perfect makings of a false alien alarm.

Sometimes these clouds have little rainbows inside.

They aren’t always circular, though…

They make all kinds of crazy shapes.

Including airplane/sword/cross/wieners.

So at work, like a lot of restaurants do, we pass out color sheets to little kids and like 3 crayons to work with. And we’ll tape them up on the wall behind the cash register if they want us too. As I was leaving work tonight, I happened to glance up at one of the pictures and saw this. (Here’s a bigger pic)

Some kid had drawn a bunch of Undertale chars and I thought it was one of the cutest things ever.

The small Japanese island of Okunoshima used to be a chemical warfare testing site, but has since been taken over by hundreds of super-friendly rabbits. Source Source 2 Source 3

Tourists flock to Japan’s Rabbit Island just to be attacked by dozens of bouncing bunnies.

Visitors are mobbed the moment they reach into a bag or rustle anything that sounds like paper.

Officials have banned cats and dogs from the island to keep the rabbits safe.

Many rabbits were use as test subjects when the island it was a chemical warfare testing ground, but it is expected that all of them were killed when the factory was demolished - so no one really knows where all these rabbits came from.

There’s a rumor that a teacher once brought some rabbits to the island for school children to play with, and they then multiplied like, well, bunnies.
