What do think is your most attractive quality is?

“Physically? Probably my hair. Mentally? My intelligence.”

What is your favorite thing to do on Valentine’s day both with and without a date?

“Bubble bath and candles. There’s nothing like relaxing in warm water and bubbles. Even better if there is a book involved.”

What is your favorite love song?

“I’m going to sound terribly predictable, but I would have to say The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra.”

How do you feel about romantic comedies? Do you have a favorite?

“I like them more than I think I would every time I watch one. I guess I could blame that on my sister since she made me watch both Breakfast at Tiffany’s and 50 First Dates. I guess you could say those are both my favorites.”

What’s your ideal first date?

“The official first date Beau took me on was pretty spectacular. Don’t tell him that though. It’ll go straight to his head.”

What is your favorite candy or dessert?

“Gulab Jamun! Especially with vanilla ice cream... I really want some now.”

What personality traits do you find most attractive in others?

“I really like people who are honest and authentic.”

What physical features do you find most attractive in others?

“Would it be strange to say strong bone structure? I don’t know that’s the first thing that popped into my mind.”

Tell us about your first kiss?

“I rather not. It was just as rubbish as you could possibly imagine.”

Who was your first crush? Your first celebrity crush?

“My first crush’s name was Harris. I met him on a cruise my family went on. My first celebrity crush was Hrithik Roshan. Well, he’s the one I remember most.”

Would you rather have flowers, chocolate, or diamonds?

“Flowers. Always flowers, and preferably in a pot.”

Who was your first romantic partner?

“Aarav Manish. I think my mother is still disappointed I didn’t marry him.”

Why did your last relationship end?

“You mean before Beau? I don’t even want to say.”

What are you looking for in your next partner? Partners?

Piper snorts, “I’m not sure how my boyfriend would feel regarding this question. I feel like I should answer it just to keep him on his toes... Someone tall, dark, and handsome.”

“Ouch,” he played defeated, pressing a hand over his chest. Beau never imagined he’d be standing where he was today. Their friendship started off rocky when all he wanted to be sweet on Piper, she always had a smart comeback. It all shifted that night he was her date to her sisters’ wedding. He needed it though, someone to put him in his place.

The blonde just gave a shrug, fingers smoothing back through his long hair. He had been meaning to get it cut but just hadn’t, and the beard was a completely different story.  Beau huffed, shaking his head before leaning forward. “I promise Jack, nor Charlie will interrupt our lunch. If they do I’ll kick their asses.” Reaching for Piper’s hand as he gently traced her fingers. “It’s nice out. We can go eat at  Point De Repere and sit outside.”

Piper gave Beau a genuine smile as he played as if she had actually hurt him. She placed her free hand over his and gave it a squeeze. Before making an attempt to step away from him so she could finally put down the book she’d been holding. The brunette hadn’t gotten any farther than that though when she felt his hand grabbing ahold of hers. Piper turned back to look at his fingers dance across her own before turning her gaze towards his face. She could tell he meant it when he said it would be only them. “I’d like that,” she admitted. Point De Repère had a beautiful patio with plenty of plants that made you feel as if you were eating in the midst of something mystical.

“Aw, but you’re so much more fun when you’ve had a drink or two. Less uptight,” Charlie said, tilting his head. It wasn’t that he didn’t like Piper, it was just that she got in the way. She wasn’t part of the plans. “Beau’s around here somewhere, Pipes. Haven’t seen him since he picked up a drink a while ago,” he shrugged.

“Funny,” she said drily. “If you were to say that to my mother she’d actually laugh. To her I’m not conservative enough.” No, according to her family Piper was way outside the lines in just about everything she did. Though that didn’t stop other’s from referring to her as such. And she wasn’t the least bit surprised that Charlie thought of her that way. In her opinion he played far too much, but she did her best to hold her tongue since the man was important to Beau.

She did her best not to cringe when he called her Pipes. Needless to say she wasn’t a fan of the nickname that only Charlie seemed to call her. With a sigh she said, “I made need that glass of wine after all.” Piper looked around the room filled with people and knowing that all the rest were just like it, she knew it would be a while before she found Beau.

Elliot had promised to help his friend out, but when he went to her place he hadn’t expected spending a day with a baby goat was the help his friend needed. But surely the baby goat was cute as heck and Elliot didn’t mind one bit. Although when he was walking home with the goat on his lap he realised he was getting rather weird looks from people. As one more pair of eyes looked at him Elliot had to say something. “Don’t worry, I didn’t steal her from anywhere. All the petting zoos are safe and have all their goats home. Do I really look like a guilty guy who goes stealing baby goats?”

“Your need to convince me that you didn’t steal her, only makes me think you did in fact steal her. Though I guess the real question is why would anyone steal a goat?” Piper’s perplexed expression only grew more pronounced. She probably shouldn’t be surprised to see a goat since there were farms in Hallow Grove. Yet every time she saw a farm animal in a different part of town she was always shocked.

Rochelle was pretty sure the other woman was just humoring her, but hey. She got to drink with someone pretty to look at it in the meantime. It all worked out well, really. Except maybe for Piper. "Ooh, that’s a good one. I’ll add it to the list. Not that I’ve actually written these down or anything.” She crossed her arms on the table and leaned forward. “So, what’s going on in your life? Anything interesting?”

“Mental list still count as list so long as you can remember them,” she muttered before taking a sip of her drink. Subconsciously licking her lips after. “My life? No, nothing interesting. Unless you count reading to toddlers for the holidays interesting. I mean it can be based on their reactions, but for the most part my life is same ol’,  same old.”

You thought terrible twos’ were bad. Oh, threes’ are even worse. Nevada watched his daughter scream her head off in the store because he had told her no. It did break his heart to say the little girl that she couldn’t have the toy, that she could wait until Christmas. In the end, he bribed Clover by offering to get ice cream after. It made her calm down and go about to looking at everything, pointing to them and asking ‘what’s that.’ Being a game to every aisle, they walked into. Just as she was about to point, a person walked into the direct line of her finger. Nevada couldn’t help but laugh, “Honey, it’s not polite to point at others. Sorry about that,” he apologized to the other.

Honestly Clover could have been pointing at Piper for a solid minute and the woman wouldn’t have noticed since she was so intently focused on the shelf of food before her. Scouring each shelf trying to find what she was looking for. “Hmm?” Piper glanced in their direction and immediately smiled once her eyes landed on the girl, “Well if it isn’t my favorite little reader in the making.”

“Trust me, don’t order it.” She talked across the table, shaking her head. Mira worked at Grace’s Diner. That meant she knew all the tricks, and what was actually decent to eat. Today was her off day, and usually, you wouldn’t catch the blonde eating there when she wasn’t working. “Their burgers are good as well as their sandwiches and wraps. Salads are too bad either– honestly, it depends on who the cook is for the day.” With that she cocked her head over her shoulder, trying to see who she could spot through the open window of the kitchen.

“But it sounds like it would be so good. How could it not be good?” Piper was perplexed. How could a diner not excel at one of the most prime diner foods?
