Plus, Shaggy had never liked the spooky stuff anyway, he liked cheesy d-rated horror movies and carving jack-o-lanterns, not whatever grotesque monster design the stores were peddling these days.

“We’ll totally like, have to stick around for Halloween then! Last holiday we spent in a small town was Oakhaven, and that wasn’t exactly the holiday we though it’d be.”

nose is scrunched up , arms instantly crossed with a huff. yeah she knew that name, she knew the things that had gone on years prior . making fun of a witches name ! using her to get tourist .. what a joke ! 

     ❛❛ right, sarah ravencroft. they used her name to gain tourist to their little town .           they shouldn’t mess with a name like that. witch’s already go through so much           their names shouldn’t be used in vain after they depart the mortal realm .❜❜

 She does not usually indulge in this sort of stuff. Then again she was intrigued to see if she would get lucky and snag a good Pokemon…or boyfriend in the future. What was the harm in humouring this festival fortune teller? It was all a part of the novelty of the festival to participate in one of these luck-readings anyway, wasn’t it?

she had no need to make money off of her, she had a job back home and got tips from people who visited her more than once so , happy that their fortune had come true that they just had to pay the girl who had told it to them .

she should have figured he was a tourist ─ most people in this town already knew she was a witch. they knew about her family, about halloweentown. the town didn’t hide it’s supernatural themes . 

     ❛❛ you should get use to it , this town is filled with witches going to          college, and warlocks -- and a bunch of other supernatural          creatures. didn’t you read the brochure? ❜❜

she’s been up for over a week now, studying for a upcoming test at school. she’s not even sure who called harry to come and pick her up. the only thing she’s positive about right now is that she’s being carried back to her grandmother’s house on her not-brother’s back

i’m rewatching the halloweentown movies and there are my thoughts

sophie is treated kinda horribly in the movies. 

‘ You are everything I could've ever hoped for in a daughter and so much more, ‘ i get its a moment for marnie but do you realize how painful it could be for sophie to hear that???

second movie: aggie talks about how marnie is gonna be the head of the family && all that when sophie is RIGHT THERE and we all know sophie’s powers are more powerful than marnies......

‘ and sophie will be staying here with me ‘ what if she wants to go with aggie?

“Like, for real? Groovy! Scoob and I are pretty crazy about Halloween, so I don’t think the lack of Christmas in September is gonna phase us much.” Shaggy was the last person to complain about Halloween decorations, he had a soft spot for the nice, safe, fake spooky stuff that always followed the fall season.

     ❛❛ it gets better once it’s actually october. the whole town will be decorated, the          store’s carry a lot of the old-school decorations to. none of that new stuff that          looks .,, well kinda stupid .  ❜

though that had only started a few years ago after people from halloweentown started to come here . new halloween decorations tended to use the bad myths of monsters to try and scare others. it wasn’t something the town wanted anymore .

she wastes no time in using her magic to levitate her coffee up , as to not spill it on the other that she had walked into ( and so her five dollars didn’t go to waste ) . she keeps it up in the air next to her as she balances herself and holds a hand out to help the other up.

❛❛ well if you love halloween, you’ll love our little town. we’re already getting ready      and it’s not even october yet. however if you’re hoping for christmas decorations      you’re out of luck. the stores won’t have any of those until december first .  ❜

it was always fun to see people stopping by the little town once it got to this time of year . already it was starting to be decorated for the town’s favorite holiday. shops had halloween decorations, the town square already had its ‘ haunted house ‘ theme . it was honestly the best time to visit .

she shrugs. she was never that interested in it , don’t get her wrong . helping kids was amazing but she never had time for it . she was spending her free time learning new spells and how to use her powers without them going out of control ( again ) . so going through knd training wasn’t on her list  @nmbh1
