Sorry for harping on this. I'm just not really ever going to be 100% over the villainess genre. It's just so so so interesting to watch these women go about their lives knowing the world is against them. What if everyone surrounding you was a threat. What if you couldn't trust anyone. What if you had to maintain a performance your whole life because people would take any excuse to label you evil.

What if one day you realized that not only did no one love you, but that no one ever had. That everyone had been lying to your face for your entire life. That everything you had was contingent upon you being convenient and disposable. What then.

due to a high death rate and dwindling space for proper burial sites in megacity west, a "necropolis" district was designated in the area of an already abandoned town. mostly they just unceremoniously dump bodies and tell people not to go over there (racers do not listen they don't care)

only the richest of the rich are able to afford proper burial spaces for themselves and their families. even moderately wealthy people can't afford that and get sent to the dead body pile.
