if female top nudity weren't viewed as inherently sexually explicit. oh brother. I would be letting those puppies hang like you wouldn't believe
the thing is I would be okay with being viewed as sexually attractive while topless. like a shirtless cis man can be a considered a hunk beefcake eye candy etc but it's not by nature r-rated. usamerican society at large is able to understand that toplessness can be sexually appealing but is not in itself a sexual act when a man does it. if I could be just casually topless on a hot day or something without the little flashing light over my head saying think of the CHILDREN I would be getting minoan with it
being online is so scary aren't you guys worried about the world wide spider
It took 36 years for someone to make this joke and by god it was worth the wait
I love this so much! Also it triggered a memory and I spent far longer than I want to admit trying to find this 2002(ish) pic from Aussie cartoonist Judy Horacek
i love this!
i did a bit of digging and found that some bloke named Simon Brooke used the OP's joke as his email signature at least as early as March 14th, 1995 according to this quoted text. it takes a while to find a preserved copy of something Simon said but here's an example from mid-96:
My bad
and ppl really dont want to hear this but not wearing a respirator during a pandemic is not just ableism, it is racism, it is transphobia, it is eugenics, it is classist, etc
poor and houseless ppl cant afford to get sick and disabled
black and brown and queer ppl have worse outcomes for getting sick
ppl who are already disabled are even worse off
waaayyy more ppl are immunocompromised and dont know it, all it takes is being comorbid (aka having 1 or more medical conditions, which is most ppl)
its suuuper anti-indigenous considering how the disease has decimated reservations and still does
if u care abt palestine hello this is you too do u think medical care is easy to get when ur facing genocide. the more we stop the spread around us the more we stop the spread globally etc
if you are reading this you need to think about why you dont mask. im so fucking tired of being nice. this isnt about shame this is about me asking you to consciously decide to stop doing something that hurts other people and yourself
^ tags on op + i said this on a post around the same time but there are absolutely reasons to be patient with and give grace to ppl who arent in a respirator HOWEVER. most of this site's userbase consists of white housing secure american settlers so you can put up with me being pissy about this one thing. if that doesnt describe u it doesnt describe u
and regardless of who u are if u reach out to me for advice i will treat u kindly literally let me help you put a respirator on
reblog this 👊💥
they should give you a national holiday because you’re so goated and better than all the dead white guys who get holidays
Haha tyy but he honor should go to you, youve already done more for this country then all these dead white guys combined

to anyone in the areas impacted by the wildfire smoke, my #1 biggest piece of advice as someone whos been dealing with wildfire smoke in the NW united states for years, is build yourself a Corsi-Rosenthal Cube
they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!
i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies
Saw these easy to read instructions on Twitter. Stay safe 💚
Also just a handy, DIY air filter in general, if a bit bulky. For a less bulky and cheaper (but also less effective) solution, you can simply tape one filter to the fan, cut a shroud if you'd like.
just FYI, this is quite literally what the climate scientists at my work who specialized in wildfire smoke impacts recommend. it works great, it's cheap to make, and it will make a noticeable impact on your air quality.
i have asthma & keep one of these running in my room perpetually. after I set it up the difference in my sleep quality was pretty much night and day. Dont waste your time on proprietary air filters; SIMPLY bust out the duct tape
imagine fighting a war for who knows how long amiright

today we are going to learn about horses
horse fact 1: horses are partially exoskeletal
horse fact 2: horses are partially trees
horse fact 3: got frogs in em
these are all the facts we have about horses.
OP that's not even a full horse. You've literally only looked at the feet.
maybe one day we will be brave enough to lift our eyes and look, trembling, at the rest of the horse. not today, though. today, these are all the facts we have about horses.

ANGELTOBER 2026
It’s finally here! The Angeltober 2026 prompt list!
For new followers, if this is your first time seeing Angeltober, let me get you caught up: every year since 2020, I’ve been hosting an angel-themed prompt list event in October, similar to Inktober. And it's not just for illustrators—writers and other types of artists are welcome, too!! I usually post the lists in August so people (including myself) can plan.
This year, the prompts on this list were inspired by my upcoming novella [Wormwood’s Fall] which is releasing during Angeltober! That novella has strong botanical horror elements, so I chose words either directly from the novella or related in some way. The result was an intensely Gothic list with religious, botanical, and angel-related themes.
Please remember to tag me (@sancta-seraphina ) or the Angeltober blog (@angeltober ) to have your posts reblogged!
Like last year, some notes about Angeltober are under the cut—
lets start blair witching it in the corner. together
