New blog post!
String art 🧵
Love blind date with a book concept! Gives second hand books a new life 📚
Cheers! 🥂
Little keyring crafts
I used to love watching the Moomins as a kid. So I thought I’d embroider Moomin (Moomintroll) and Snorkmaiden 🍄🌿.
Love how this turned out, little gift for a friend 🌸🌼🌿
Little Scottish thistle!
Alway enjoy little projects! 🪡🧵
Love how these turned out 🍦 thought these little Ice creams would be fitting for this time of year 🌞. I’ve got a lot of other projects I’m working on over the summer, so hopefully I’ll get them finished soon 🪡🧵
Love embroidering tiny pieces! 🪡🧵 I like adding these brooches to plain tops or jackets for a little bit of homemade detail
These were quick and simple to make. I purchased blank cabochon bases, created my desired design and then glued them into the base! 🍦🌸🌼👒
Loved creating this! Used to love going on a merry-go-round as a kid 🎠
Book review-
Since joining a book club at university this year I have been reading more than usual! I’ve always been an avid reader but sometimes life takes over!
This book was great, I really liked it and I normally don’t read this type of book! I actually couldn’t put it down and read it in less than a day. It was heart-warming, funny and interesting. The book is about Nora who finds herself in the midnight library- a place between life and death! She must answer the ultimate question: what is the best way to live?
I highly recommend this book if you want something different. Matt Haig is a good author and I’ve read some of his other work such as how to stop time! 📚
A few of my favourite books! I like to either stitch some of the patterns or use them to create my own ideas. Embroidery books are also a great way to learn new stitches or techniques! 🪡🧵
I love to embroider in my spare time! I find it very relaxing and my worries seem to disappear. I’m currently working on a few projects which I am very excited about. 🤩
I think these ice creams are fitting for the summer! I plan on experimenting with different colours and shapes in the future when creating more! 🍦
Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be 📚
