devonheir:
The waters of low tide rushing against rocks and dwindling in force against petit elevations of sand had drowned the sound of her approach, claiming his attention rather quickly from where he cast his gaze out to sea.
“Miss Valerie…”
A hand rose to find itself placed just beside the cravat around his neck before he offered a small bow, though the Beldum hovering beside his shoulder showed no such manners, instead its singular eye staring unblinkingly at the young woman.
“The pleasure is all my own, though I express regret now that I’ve been unable to visit Kalos yet.” He rose, allowing steel blue irises to rest upon her, “If I had known you’d be visiting, I would have made sure to stay upon the land, rather than among the mangroves and making it more of a hassle for you.”
Valerie did a small courtesy in return as their eyes met, Valerie’s large dark eyes with Steve’s. The scent of sand and sea salt fills the air as the water calmly comes and goes, smoothing out the sand.
“It’s fine but you must visit at one point, Kalos is quite a beautiful region.” Commented as she responded again. “It’s fine, I don’t to go much beaches, the fresh air and scenery is quite enjoyable even though I’m not quite dressed for it.” Talking about how her heels dug into the sand a but and how she had to careful to not get any on her dress.
