I have planted all the seeds!! Let's see how long they take to grow into actual seedlings :)
The tomatoes sprouted on the 11th of February!!
But sadly, as you might see, there's some infection of mould growing. I hope it will turn out alright.
Today I gave the plants inside my room some extra earth to grow in. Some were switched to a slightly bigger pot. Others were just taken out of their shell, in order to put a new layer of earth on the bottom.
I hope they like it :)
From all the flower seeds I gathered, I made this flowerblend! It's a combination of all the seed packages we had lying around, and the seeds I gathered last year from our garden.
Goals this year
This year I want to set several goals, I want to keep working towards them. Whether these work out doesn't matter, as long as I try my best.
A list of the plants I want to grow this year:
Small tomatoes
Lettuce
A flowerbed
Sunflowers
Basil
Thyme
Rosemary
Chamomile
Mint
I chose plants which fit the environment I will let them grow in. I moved out a few monts ago, I'm living on my own in a small studentroom. I have one set of big windows, through which direct sunlight comes during noon. Because I don't have a balcony, I chose plants which either need a warm environment (tomatoes) or herbs, which I usually grow inside.
The flowers are an experiment, I would love to have a flowerbed lighten my place up. In my parents home I used to just look at the flowers in our front garden, we had so many beautiful flowers. I want to try and replicate this on a smaller scale. I have lot's of poppy seeds from last year, so I'm excited!
The plants that I'm growing for the first time are lettuce, sunflowers, thyme, rosemary and chamomile.
