Unfinished Fanfics and Empty Promises

I think I should delete my side blog and just dump my fanfic projects, because I have a feeling that I shouldn’t actually pursue my art. It’s done nothing but make me miserable, despite all of the art tutorials and books I’ve been gifted and owned throughout my life, and it’s like I’m stuck running in place for years. I should put away the pen and paper and focus on actually growing, because my art dreams are just a thing of my past that’ll just inhabit me if I continue clinging onto it. I’m sorry if I’ve let anyone down, but this isn’t something I should be doing. My art journey has gone nowhere, so this is something that is coming to an end so I can start doing something that will actually benefit me.

Had a weird dream last night

It was a thing where I was with the monsters from Undertale, and we were all trying to climb down Mt Ebott because the barrier had been broken and all that jazz, but apparently, I was holding an urn full of Asriel’s ashes, and Alphys and Papyrus offered to help me so that I wouldn’t have to worry about both climbing down and holding it. Everyone managed to get down the mountain, and the last thing I remember seeing was that there was thus huge parade, celebrating that I was found after being missing, but all I cared about doing was trying to find my dad and my sister.

So yeah. That happened.

I also saw that part of the dream was that I was on a Spamton themed roller coaster, which was in severe disrepair, and that when I was helped off the ride, as far as I could remember, I saw the smile of IMAGE_FRIEND in the shadows. But then the dream changed course and I didn’t see it again.

My hands are tied (at least I thought they were)

So I was able to get that nasty wax out of my ear (yipee!!), and now I have time to work on my fan comic!!!

But there was something I didn’t suspect. Another fandom came crawling back that I had not thought about in years. Now I have tons of plot bunnies of two different varieties running around in my brain, and so I have come up with a compromise:

For every one chapter of my HMC fan comic, I will work on one of my MHA fan comic. Hopefully that is fair to myself, since procrastination is killing my willingness to create. But fear not, mutuals and followers, all of those who are familiar and new, because I vow to get this done. And I will work my hardest to ensure that the comics will be posted (while making sure my irl stuff doesn’t get in the way)!!!

Cat Kingdom Redesign Thoughts

Since The Cat Returns was made on a tight budget (or at least I think so), I assume they didn’t have much time to develop the world or spend much time in the fantasy world before they immediately moved on. So I thought about doing a redesign of The Cat Kingdom once I master Blender sculpting, and I thought about adding some more buildings closer to The Cat King’s Castle, with plenty of skylights, resting spots, as well as lots of (cat safe) plants and flowers dotting around. The buildings themselves would range in size, getting smaller around the edges of the castle area, with the more rural areas resembling simple village homes with small gardens and farms that would raise fish, birds (like pheasants, chickens and quail) and take advantage of hunting mice that would sneak into the farms. What do you think about my idea so far?

Can’t even sleep bc of this crap

I thought it would be just a simple thing I could flush out, and now it hurts really bad. It’s not head splitting, but it is super nagging and is starting to get on my nerves. I don’t know if it’s impacted ear wax or some kind of ear swelling (I pray to God that it’s not an infection), but I just want it gone so I can focus on my fan comic :(

Please pray for me, I wouldn’t wish this for this shit on anyone, even my worst enemy.

Maybe I shouldn't have my comic be so complicated

All this coding stuff I was talking about in concern for my fancomic is making my head spin and my brain turn into pink spaghetti, so maybe I shouldn't have the comic be like @lynxgriffin's Skybox and more like the comics that @dumgumgum or @miggsboson makes. Much simpler and gets the message across just fine. So maybe this would be the best option for me at this point.

The thing with Tumblr Communities

Is that they’re surprisingly drier than normal nowadays. I try to post something to draw people out for things like fandom questions and stuff like that, but I barely get any interaction with them. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Is something happening that’s causing the communities to go quiet, or just flat out ignore posts?

Since my sister, my brother in law, and their friend all play Minecraft like I do

I’m making a multiplayer survival world for them, with a base I’m planning on building near a village. It’ll have plenty of beds, chests, and other stuff so that we can go on lots of adventures and stuff together. I’m also creating the base by putting together a bunch of different houses and structures together, including things like a horse stable, a temple that will be used as a wizard’s tower for crafting potions, a library for books and an enchantment table, and other cool stuff.

I’m calling it “The Folding Valley”, simply because I’m a fan of naming my Minecraft worlds after places in Howl’s Moving Castle.

So what do you think about the idea? It’s honestly better of an idea than the Treehouse I made in my other Minecraft world.
