Shame on the people hounding creatingBlackcharacters and any other Black individual who called out the anti-Blackness in the TADC situation.

The “punchline” in a slur for those outside of the victimised demographic is the shock value due to the significance of it.

They knew it was bad the first instance it showed up, and they brought it back up again to laugh at something STILL linked to the significant anti-Blackness today, and then chucked a bandaid on it and doubled down when they were caught.

No matter how “old” that situation is, what they did was anti-Black. That was racist. That cannot and should not be defended, and every Black individual has every right to call it out and expect the boycott of the creators and the production.

CreatingBlackcharacters has addressed this perfectly to call in other non-Black users to stand in solidarity. there is no statute of limitations on racism nor slur usage.

“It’s just fandom”, this type of behaviour endangers Black people from participating in what they enjoy and the spaces and communities surrounding it. Everytime something like this happens and it’s allowed to slide without much backlash, it becomes normalised + a whole group of racists are more emboldened to do it too because they know they can get away with it EVEN under the public limelight.

Black people as the affected demographic should not be expected to forgive anyone or be expected to show grace for this.

i don't believe for one instant that this ask is in good faith but i'll answer to educate those who do want to learn and not fall for white supremacy tactics in the future.

transandrobros believe that transandrophobia is real. it isn't real. men are not oppressed for being men. trans men are oppressed for being trans. transandrobros want to cling to bioessentialism and terf rhetoric so they can paint themselves as victims when they are actually a part of the dominant oppressive class.

the same tactic is used when people say you can be 'racist' against white people. you literally can't. the worldwide systemic power of antiblackness doesn't have a mirror of systemic "anti-whiteness", it simply doesn't work that way.

Racism is a form of systematic oppression that has cost people their LIVES, people have DIED and SUFFERED because of racism. Nobody is going to beat and lynch you because you’re 5’4.

I can name MULTIPLE people off the top of my head who have been racist and yet they are thriving in life because society doesn’t care until the issue affects them.

Mixed shooting or chess or whatever gets a set number of advertisers. If women start winning then they can get a bigger slice of those advertising dollars. However, if the formerly mixed league is gendered then the men's league will get more money and expand the talent pool whereas the women's league will get less money which will shrink the talent pool. This will lead to a disparity in talent that will be used as "proof" that the initial unjust funding was "just"

Something similar happened in UFC when women started to win too much. The funding structure was changed to the point that women champions could literally no longer afford to train. This led to a shrinking in the women's talent pool and a widening of a once shrinking talent disparity.
