This Catholic priest is trying to change the church by actually loving and accepting his gay parrishoners
When journalist and videographer Eric Kruszewski first learned about LEAD, an LGBT church outreach program started at St. Matthew Catholic church, he knew he needed to see its work in action. The resulting video series tells stories that range from a lesbian former nun’s decision to leave the Church to a mother of gay and straight children learning how to be an ally.

Is male objectification actually similarly as problematic as female objectification ? Like, I always hear men saying "well, men get objectified too, women are always focusing on sexy, muscular men with big bulges", but I wonder if this is really as much of a problem
Nope. Male objectification lacks systemic oppression. Nothing comes from male objectification besides objectification. Female objectification contributes to a sexualization of women which leads to violence.
Do you think someone could still use that? Asking for a friend
what is it about mugs!? why can’t i walk past them without feeling a deep pull to buy them!? i don’t need any! more! mugs!! i don’t even have to really like the mug. it could be ugly as fuck. but i’d want it.

“We met in college. He walked me home from school every day for five years. We would talk about everything: how many kids we wanted, how we wanted to raise them, our roles in the home, where we wanted to live, and even where we wanted to go on vacation. So there really haven’t been many surprises. A lot of couples only seem to talk about important things if they’re forced to make big decisions. And there can be this moment of: ‘I didn’t really know you.’ And there’s pressure to make a decision. And that’s when the biggest arguments seem to happen. We’ve luckily managed to avoid that because it’s all been discussed before. We’ve been married for fifteen years but we still walk home together from work every night. We’re actually doing that right now.”
