If this isnt how peace is made then peace is just a meaningless word.
Emirate Arabs dance with Chabad Jews in a previous enemy state called United Arab Emirates.
That face card some serious 😍
Reposted from @fridaysforfutureke ❌Over 150,000 indigenous Maasai of Loliondo and Ngorongoro, Tanzania are facing a military style brutal eviction from their ancestral land in Ngorongoro to make way for a luxury destination for safari and hunting.
🌳 ‘We have taken care of our environment and lived in harmony with other living and nonliving things. And we are not ready to lose our traditional lifestyle we have lived for time immemorial. Tourists flood our homelands in every area to see and wonder how we have been able to maintain a balance between our lives and nature. Pastoralism is compatible with conservation.’ This is their statement
🛖Loliondo is a vast savannah land and the Maasai lives depend on their nomadic pastrolic life and their vast lands. Eviction means extinction of an indigenous people who have conserved this thriving world famous lands for hundreds of years.
❌This is based on the fortress conservation model has roots from racist and colonialism where indigenous and native peoples lands are taken
‼️UNESCO (UN’s outfit) and the government of Tanzania are using racist models based on overpopulation as a myth to extract the Maasai from homes that are rich in wildlife and biodiversity and have been preserved for hundreds of years by their ancestors.
✊🏽Share this to amplify and support the Maasai people and to gain international attention.

A walk among the cherry trees in Tokyo, starting from Kayabacho Station, passing the Takashimaya department store in Nihombashi, and then on to the Yaesu side of Tokyo Station.
The blossoms look to be in full bloom but the wet and windy weather in Tokyo this evening surely isn't doing the petals any favors!
