I think I'm hallucinating again or I think I just saw someone kinda similar to mom watching me from the outside of school. Outside of the dang grid-

I don't know if I should be concerned or not, he's making eye contact

*a few minutes later, a black motorcycle pulls up in front of Leo's school, the rider taking off the helmet to reveal Damien with a high ponytail*

There was an older man next to Leo, looking at him and at Damien for a moment.

The teacher sighed, just patting Leo's shoulder and walking away to get inside the building again.

Leo ran up to him, looking up in awe while holding a helmet with several stickers on it.

"You look awesome Ma" the demon smiled, tying up his hair in a low ponytail to avoid helmet hair later.

*He smiled widely*

"Thanks, kid! Pretty cool, right?"

*he pats his child's head softly*

"Hop on! I'll take you home"

Leo nodded, putting on the helmet and carefully sitting down.

*Damien turned the motorcycle on, speeding away as soon as Leo was comfortably and safely set up*

Leo held on tight, not really minding the speed and smiling as he felt the air against him.

At the distance however, a man in his late 70s saw from afar the duo, writing down something in his notebook.

"Acho que finalmente te encontrei, seu pequeno pecador..." the man murmured before walking away slowly almost deliberately, as if he thought he had the advantage over something. Over someone.

*Damien made his way to Leo's house, doing a little drift into the sidewalk to drop the kid literally at the door*

"There we go! Home sweet home. I'll stay out here for a little while, just make sure on something"

Leo tilted his head but nodded.

"I'll wait for you inside ma" the demon murmured, feeling something was off but not questioning it.

He knew better than that.

*he nodded, waiting for Leo to get inside. He pretended to leave, taking the bike around the block, only to send it back to LA once he was out of view, teleporting back to the house but this time into the front yard.

He started to place sigils by the corners of the walls, protective wards to set a barrier*

Leo noticed a subtle shift in the air, stiffening for a moment as he wondered if Damien had done anything but shaking his head immediately. He trusted his ma, he didn't have to worry.

*Damien tapped the barrier to test it out. Happy with the results, he headed inside*

"I'm in! Sorry, had to take some preventive measures"

"Don't worry! It's fine ma" the demon smiled warmly, throwing the question to the back of his mind.

He stretched up and yawned, rubbing his left eye a little.

*he chuckles softly, smiling foundly at the kid*

"Sleepy?"

The demon nodded, taking off his backpack.

"Mm, I got home late from a mission where I accidentally ended up collaborating with mom and Gabi-"

"Hah! Yes, I saw your post. Interesting shenanigans you end up on"

*he ruffled their hair*

"Say, what if you go take a power nap, and I wake up once I finish making you a fancy treat? You deserve it"

"Ma I can't just let you be here without getting attended when you're a guest and-" the demon got interrupted when Aurora tackled him and dragged him to the bedroom alongside Boo.

"Eres una niña muy caprichosa ¿Lo sabías?" Leo murmured, picking up Aurora in his arms while Boo cuddled in his shoulder.

*he laughed at the scene*

"Don't worry, I already know my way around here!"

*he said, turning to the kitchen.

He thought of making some strawberry pancakes. His child liked strawberries after all*

Leo got on top of the bed, immediately Aurora hopped in with Boo and he didn't feel sleepy at all don't be ridiculous-

It didn't take him a long time to fall asleep in his bed.

*Leo was woken up three hours later, Damien kneeling besides his bed softly shaking his shoulder*

"Leooo, wake uuuup. I made pancake caake"

The demon groaned, hiding his face in his pillow. He slept hugging his pillow and of course with his familiar and Aurora next to him.

"Mmgh... Cinco minutos más, juro que si voy a levantarme para patrullar pero más tarde" Leo murmured half asleep.

*he laughed softly at that, gently scratching his kid's scalp*

"Alright, alright, I'll let you snooze a little longer. The cake will be on the fridge, yeah?"

Leo nodded, covering himself with blankets again, muttering something along the lines of thank you.

*he gently kissed the boy's head, exiting the room soon after*

The boy remained there, however Boo stirred up and followed Damien.

*Damien just moved to the kitchen to properly store the strawberry pancake cake. Noticing the small soot-like cat, he gave it a little wave*

"Hey, Boo!"

A small cat bapped Damien's leg, looking up at him with a handkerchief in it's mouth.

It looked proud of itself for some reason.

*Damien looked away from the clothing he was sewing to take the cat in his lap*

"Hm? What'cha got there now, Meownidas?"

Meownidas left the handkerchief in Damien's lap.

It looked like a batarang and... Catwoman's goggles??

"Mrrrp" it meowed, pushing the objects to Damien. Almost like cats usually did when they bought their preys home, expect this was quite different to say the least.

*Damien laughed in delight, scratching Meownidas' head and chin*

"Aren't you a talented little thief, mh? Mischievous little fuzball"

*he cooed affectionately, offering Meownidas a treat tube*

"Must be hungry after all that stealin"

Meownidas purred, happy to make Damien laugh.

It tried to reach the treat tube, trying to grab it with one of its paws.

*he chuckled, handing Meownidas the treat tube, tho still holding it because well it's a tiny kitten*

"Still can't believe you haven't grown a bit, hm?"

"Mrrow?" the kitten tilted its head, not sure of what he meant.

*he huffed in amusement*

"I mean you're still as tiny as when you invaded my room, ya tiny menace"

*he booped the kitten's nose*

The cat replied by biting Damien's finger playfully, not sure about how it's growth worked either.
