I love that lots of podcasts are like 'We need to minimise swearing so we don't get an explicit rating. None of our characters are dropping any f-bombs unless an important moment really calls for it' whereas Greater Boston is like 'what if we ended the first episode of our new season with multiple characters repeatedly shouting 'Fuck Mark Walberg' for like a minute straight?'

A lot of time travel stories are about the destruction of the past self but woe.begone is really interesting in how much destruction of future selves there is. The past brought back to life while mike walters causes torture to and kills older versions of himself.

i think this has happened across a couple different shows, so im not tagging one, but if you're hinting about a character having a dark secret and i get to the secret and it's like, "tried to save someone to the best of their ability and failed," is just so disappointing for me.

it's just frustrating for characters to make such a big deal out of nothing. if you're going to build all this up, at least contend with being a bad person instead of this neat and easy cop out.

god, i love how emotive vega's narration is, i love how exciting the world feels and the music and sound design. i like how quickly vega is shown as powerful and the stakes are so high because of that.

i also love the worldbuilding around corporate gods, and logos and so forth. that's something that's been popping up in stuff I've really liked recently and I'm fascinated by the shape they take here (and everywhere else.)
