The Wedding Toast
Summary: JJ makes a toast during John B and Sarah’s wedding. They have no idea what to expect.
Thank you to the anon that submitted this headcanon to me in this ask and the follow-up ask!
Sarah had no idea if letting JJ speak at her wedding reception, even though he is the best man, was the smartest idea. But she decided that out of all the things she needed to stress herself out over for her wedding, JJ was not one of them. She knew he’d be there, right beside John B and her as they exchanged their vows and married. He’d be tearing up the dance floor with the non-alcoholic beer they knew he’d want but wouldn’t ask for himself. JJ Maybank, one of her best friends, her roommate, and her brother in every sense of the word except by blood would be one of the witnesses to sign their marriage certificate.
